Well I stand corrected. This is why Iโ€™ll need to think about it.

agreed not sure what positives he offers. Rather keep Trengove.

Yeah. Stand by your thought that the leading tackler on the ground canโ€™t lay a tackle. Good lad.

I said I stood corrected on his tackling stats at that pointย P-Man. His second half tackling has also been very good.

I stand by my thoughts he isnโ€™t up to it and adds very little.

Instead of attempting to belittleย me, enlighten me on his upside?

Oh many pardons.ย Am I belittling you? Iโ€˜m terriblyย sorry.ย

Please return to your zealousness to sink the boot in.ย Iโ€™ll stop hurting your feelings.

Fritsch can do it all

Not sure where the so called hurt feelings comeย into it, but thanks for the pompous reply.

Now as per my previous post, pleaseย let me know your thoughts on JKHโ€™s positive future at the Melbourne Football Club.

Why did you ignore half his post? What is JKH's upside?

I don't see it either. But I think he gives it a real go. I'm just not sure he's fast enough to lock down a position.

ย

I thought he did alright today. Finished with plenty of tackles and looks hungry for the ball

ย

Has definitely improved since his last game

Did enough in last qtr to keep his spot. Tackle count good. We need guys who hunt down tackles

He tackled strongly and he was quite neat with the ball at times and quick to release.ย  Had some poor moments but worth another chance.ย  Probably playing in a position not suited to him as well (wing).

yes i think its a bit premature to start calling for his delisting. his first game in a while and he did a lot better than some others. Showed a little give him a little more time, he could be pretty handy.

First half was soft as always.

Got in some late game tackles.

Is and always will be depth.

Worked his way into the game

Agree,ย  and with 9 tackles he's earnt another crack despite the slow start .

ย

In for another week of the key to getting a game is being a competitor.

His job shouldn't be to get 40 touches. That's what we have Clarry and Gus for. If he gets blokes thinking twice when taking their time to size to their options, then keep him in.

Did a great kick to Hogan for a goal. 8 tackles Give him some credit

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwinโ€™s summer of love.ย Manyย issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

Weโ€™re back! That was fun. The Mighty Deesโ€™ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commandingย 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
