Carlton mate showed me a stat this morning.

Marchbank: Metres gained - Minus 13. Is that even possible for a full game?

Sadly, some of our past players might have him on that pre Roos.  Don't want to mention names as they did their best but we consistently handballed in circles and backward to a player under pressure until we turned it over.  Painful.

As an aside, there are so many similarities Bolton to Neeld: lauded as a teacher, talked up by their premiership winning coach, acid tongue when under pressure demoralising players (altho Bolton hides it better behind his childish smile).  Rubbish game plan.  Both clubs shambolic off field with poor player development. And they play 'bruise free' football?

It amazes me how they had a template of what not to do (MFC) yet they have copied it to a T.

Two consecutive 10 goal floggins from bottom 4 clubs and players aren't playing for him.  He will really feel the blowtorch now.  So glad it isn't us anymore.

Their injury list is horrific to be fair. Although other than Docherty their outs would only have made a difference around the margins.

They need to do an independent full club reiview. Football department, administration, recruting, fitness and medical staff... the whole kit and caboodle looks to be a shambles.

What amazes me is some Carlton fans think that Tyson would be surplus to their needs. He’d be their second best inside mid by a mile. They don’t even know how to help themselves.

True their injury list is a problem but I suspect they wouldn't make much difference.

The bigger problem is they traded away their better players:  Betts, Garlett, Waite, Gibbs, Robinson, Touey, Henderson and I'm sure there are others.   It was very deliberate to get picks for SOS to take to the draft so they now have a bunch of talented kids who are suffering.

Tyson would take a lot of the load off Cripps.  He would be really good for them.  I have to say I really admire Cripps.  Reportedly he is playing with a number of injuries.  He is playing so well that he is regularly BOG and second on the Coaches vote table.

In my first ever game of under 12s,  I only got one kick.

It slewed off the side of my boot and through for a point to the opposition.

SOS offered you a contract yet?

Brizzy win would be huge for us.

Only 9 down at the half.  Let’s what belief the6 have built up.  Anyone gong to tag Mitchell?  Or is his huge DT score at half time, high possession but not effective one?

Brizzy have drafted very well the last few years, They have some serious talent and  are developing their kids nicely.

Basically the total opposite of Carlton.

Fagan has a good steady approach to improving teams, helped us in the late 90s, then moved to hawks and nor Brissie.  A very long apprenticeship to get where is at Brisbane,

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
