Looks like Hunt and Pedo are the traveling emergencies

Makes sense, Tyson had to get a run this week so no use in taking him to the Alice. Will be interested to hear about his game today please Drunkn.

Corey Wagner cut his hair now looks exactly like his brother I’m gonna get those 2 confused today lol

any radio?

North Port Oval is bathed in sunshine as the game starts with the home side opening strongly but unable to score.

So far, we’ve seen a couple of points to Port & that’s it.

Jayden Hunt and Cam Pedersen appear to be the traveling emergencies for tomorrow’s game in Alice Springs because neither of them are out on the ground.

Port get the first goal, seem to be on top. Keilty in everything down back, Tyson poor disposal has been costly

typical Tyson

Everyone for Casey horrible with their disposals where as Port are making most count early in the game

This is a bit like the start to last week’s game. Port 1.5.11 leading to 0.0.0. The Borough could be much further ahead but for the fact that they keep hitting the  post.

Quarter time Port 2-9-21 to Casey 2-1-13

Tyson poor, pretty sure every kick went to an opposition. Stretch and both Wagner’s good, Keilty good same with Frost and Petty

If we fix up our disposal we’d be good.

After thumping Frankston and returning to the top 4 Casey will play Port.Melbourne who are currently 7th.

It is an away game and starts at 2pm Saturday.

Casey should win this comfortably by 30 points with the form they are in and could boast an even stronger line up with the possible inclusions of Tyson, King and Hutchins.

POSSIBLE TEAM

B: KEILTY, FROST, JOHNSTONE

HB: J.SMITH, PETTY, LOCKHART

C : HUNT, STRETCH, BAKER

HF: BALIC, WHITE, BUGG

F: FILIPOVIC, PEDERSEN, KENNEDY HARRIS

FOLL: KING, J.WAGNER, TYSON

IC: C.WAGNER, SCOTT, MUNRO, HUTCHINS, DI PASQUALE

SENIOR EMERGENCY: GARLETT

Come on Casey. Wish we had Pedo in the firsts, but ..... .... ....  it doesn't seem to be the case. Hope he notches another 6 goals. Best of luck for the game.

Munro nails a defender in the pocket and Garlett swoops on and kicks a nice banana straight through the centre for the first goal of the second term

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
