The bloke is way too tentative in just about all aspects of his professional life it seems.

Unable to fully commit to the Eagles, extremely timid throughout the entirety of the whole king hit fiasco, and seemingly ambivalent with his disposals.

Even with his good kicking skills, he is a player you don't tend to notice that much in games (rightly or wrongly - bar that brain fade). He makes Garland look like the most outgoing footballer there ever was.

Honestly, what a load of bs

I'd still be chasing him if he is a chance.

But thats just me personally..

Do you think he'd push ANB out of that gut running role, DD?

Meh

A great link player and a good wingman (I won't discredit his AA's)

But he's not a game changer and I don't think I've seen him kick over 45m before

I don't think he was ever going to leave too

We still need to recruit more speed.   Forget Gaffe.

I don't think i've seen him lay more than 2 tackles in a game either.

The way we've seen Langdon and Tomlinson play is exactly the reason some of us were so keen on Gaff. He fills the same role, and after 2018 it was very clear we needed someone in that role. We don't need him anymore.

Gaff would have cost us the same pay,  as the two of Langdon and Tominson together.

Absolutely. But he was recognized as one of the best in the league, plus these two werent available at the time.

It may be that we had been having conversations with both and thought we were a chance of landing both, thus focused our recruitment on May instead (who we thought would go to Collingwood at the end of 2019).

I was only commenting on why many of us wanted us to look closely at him.

I agree,  'dnx'.  As I did  for a few seasons, until he had such high tickets on himself.

I think we are ahead.

We got 2 for the price of 1. Both wings have been filled so we can look at other areas of need, or re-sign a couple of our guns who might have walked for better coin elsewhere.

Sometimes you have a win, even when it looks like you lost.

This list is average other than Jeremy Cameron.

Cameron would be a gigantic get, but there's no chance.

He'll stay at GWS.

Trade for need/speed, I think for 2020.?

Draft for CHB and another tall forward.

We need to draft KP talls now(2020) & next season,  for 3 or 4Yrs down the track.  As replacements for May & tMac, etc.

Are you Jeremy Cameron’s Mum? An aside, I drove through Dartmoor last week, not much there.

Just can't see him leaving GWS - they'll finish top 4 and he could win Coleman again.

Ah well rather him stay there then go to the Saints, Essendon or some other wasted club.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
