Haha! That's funny...didn't enjoy the bus trip down to Kardinia Park, SWYL?

Never been to Kardinia Park Mate, the only “old ground” i haven’t been inside

i am sure i haven’t missed much. You go through Jeelong to get to The Great Ocean Road, otherwise the drive is pointless!!

The Geelong ring road was built to avoid that thankfully

If us and the Tigers are 4-0 going into that Anzac game the AFL will be creaming. 90k at the G easy imo

EDIT: Also always rated Huddo

As did most of the football world, he was a magician at full forward !

Now with the ring road you can just bypass it altogether!

Danger plays and destroys the hammy at the 10 minute mark of the 1st Quarter, on the members wing, being chased hard by Bernie Vince

The Crowd erupts as Patrick is stretchered off

i despise Jeelong

i class them as an interstate club

Very poetic and so insightful. What an excellent image it is, too.

I hope Bernie caught up with him before he started crying for not getting a free kick - and did a 'Ted Whitten' with him by rubbing a handful of wet mud into his face whilst looking elsewhere, innocently. It is going to rain, the BOM says, so take full advantage of the prevailing conditions, Bernie, PLEASE...

Wow. There's definitely a strong Ministry for Propaganda at Geelong. No way Dangerfield plays after pulling a hamstring. It's see ya later for 2+ weeks.

That's fine.

I expect him to play, but may be wrong.

One of the key reasons their propaganda was strong on this is I know how well connected at Geelong you are. So if you were saying it, they'd convinced many.

I just know how they love to play their little mind games, but at this stage I now expect him to sit it out.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
