I support the club, I might joke every now and again that they're trying my patience and  that I might not renew, or burn, my membership, but it's a slight exaggeration. ?

If they traded Hogen, Petracca and Brayshaw with Watts, that might push me over the limit. ?

Not a trick and this is probably not the venue to ask that question which is why I will also pose the question on the Demonland Facebook page.

You,re now state of Origin and don,t know where coming from !

They have kicked me in the guts many times over the last 46 years...

But I am still there.

They will kick me in the guts again over the rest of the journey...

But I will still be there.

Only an Essendrug type thing would make me walk away... but only until those that did it where removed and punished...  then I'd be back.

Why? Because my heart beats true. I have demon blood running up and down my veins, carrying it to my great big red and blue heart.

There is no football without the MFC. There is no point watching football without the MFC. Without the hope of hearing 'Grand Old Flag' then it's just a bunch of guys in shorts and silly tops chasing leather. But with that hope... it is the greatest game ever made.

I live in the country, cost in time and money is always a consideration but I've airways been a member. I use to travel 2 hours each day for work daily, now only 40 mins but now I'm a casual so money is a big factor. So while it wouldn't solely make up my mind, if they traded Viney and or petracca and I was getting sod all shifts it might swing me to down grading out dropping for a year.

Never done it yet to.

I don’t care who is traded but the club as a whole are on there last chance with me, either make finals next year or not another cent from me till they do.

I've supported the MFC for 65 years, C stands for CLUB.

I've therefor seen quite a few people come and go, players, coaches ,admins , etc, all having their input which is greater than mine.

I count myself lucky that in my latter years I've got the opportunity to be a member of Demonland , which allows me so much more  MFC involvement. Compared to Saturday nights Sporting Globe its a big step up.

So watts my point ? The thread question should have included a CLUB alternative which is always greater than the team perspective .

In light of one player commanding 259 pages I think its a salient point.

RDB and the Redfox moving on were really big topics in times gone by and would have commanded more than 259 pages in  retrospect

In conclusion , despite his buzzcut, I suspect Goody is a redhead and I hope he gets as many flags as the last one !

There seems to be a lot of sentiment online that a "supporter" won't buy a membership if player X is let go?

In this case player X is of course Jack Watts. The Melbourne Football Club posted a post on Facebook plugging the purchasing of your 2018 membership and the majority of comments center around people claiming that they won't purchase a membership if Jack Watts is traded.

Do you subscribe to this? Would you not buy a membership based on a players retention, trade or delisting?

As far as I’m concerned. Those who don’t buy a membership bcos Watts was traded can.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
