I tell you, Hannan is a nifty small forward, and we get another straight away. Loving this match. It's a shame we haven't been able to keep them goalless this half though.

And moving up the ground and killing it. Kid can just play football.

Brad Johnson should NOT be commentating a dogs match. He's ridiculously biased.

Generally, I like him but f*** he and Hudson (bias too) are just painful to hear.

Jake Stringer has psycho eyes.

I love you Jack Watts! Massive goal after the Dogs responded.

What a game of footy this is.  I'm bloody loving it.

We are no pushovers anymore.  Dogs are soft and we're all over them, they don't like the push and shove and it shows.  Our physicality and pressure has been second to none.

And the Dogs fans are nothing but a bunch of sooks now.  Such a shame.

They fought back hard in the last 10, but nice that we got one back to snuff out their momentum (and right on half time too!)

The Bulldogs are a ducking disgrace.

It's mental in the crowd.

Obviously you guys are loving Bugg, but that was pathetic. Blind sides Easton Wood, then goes down far to easy for a free shot at goal.

Guess you can say it's smart play, but I don't think anyone wants that sort of behaviour or play rewarded with a goal.

But other than that, you guys are all over them and will win this.

Doggies in real strife in missing out on the finals

Brad Johnson is the WORST commentator I have EVER heard and that is saying something.

He is just a glorified dogs supportor and it's discraceful to listen too.

Even one of his fellow commentators said "settle down Jono".

PATHETIC.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
