This made me laugh.

But at the end of the day, we weren't good enough. Close, but not quite. The evenness of the comp is now our friend. We can still get a roll going, and find a spot in the top four if we are up to it.

St Kilda, Richmond and Collingwood all in one day. This is almost too much.

Some of your best work, DA.

Today's been a real day of comedy. First Richmond and now this.

The media were salivating over Richmond when they had their lucky 5-0 start.

Will they ever learn?

Richmond's last win was against us, and they struggled to beat us when we were two men down. They should have 5 straight losses.

Born loser Jack Riewoldt was celebrating like they won the grand final. Tomorrow night they will be out of the 8, and wont get back in.

- edit. They will still be in the 8 after this round.. but are on their way out.

Gee wish I could wind back to 1/4 time. The pies fans were filthy, Ed was blowing up and Bucks wouldnt have felt so great.

But now the hawks look slower, fumbly and can't find free space. Dam it would have been a great day if the pies had lost as well after richmonds effort today.

You've got to play the long game with Collingwood.

Now Eddie will feel vindicated and keep Buckley on.

Gee the crows have found some form and boosted there percentage nicely. I know they are only playing brisbane.

Hawks stopped after 1/2 time. 1 goal to 8. Tom Mitchell 48 possies. It was 11 shots at goal to 2. They just couldnt go on with there great start.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
