Daisy Pearce's special comments as a boundary rider puts the boys club to shame.

yeah nobody cares Chook. We just wanna win

jones ...AGAIN. SALEM wtf!

Will be a 'famous victory' if our 20 can outlast their 25

Lewis would be handy in this situation

I don’t reckon Jones has hit a target all night.

Another to richmond and the lead is back to 7 points.

We just have to find a way....................

We just don't know how to finish (outside of Watts and Jeffy) even when we have teams on toast up forward

One would have to concede that we are a little undermanned.

Have the survivors the mental strength?

Desperately need a lifting goal or two

Hard to finish off when two of your best mids aren't doing so well and one is having a mare

Some Anzac spirit would be nice right about now....

Jones' kicking - just horrible.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
