Bruce is heartbroken.

Still excited by guys arching their back though ?

Who wins next week, Dogs or GWS? Please, please be the Dogs, couldn't stand to see their Grand Final aspirations snuffed by a [censored] AFL-concession franchise.

Picken has killed it 2 finals in a row. He's made for it. Could win that Gary Ayres award.

Free kick Hawthorn x2

And again OOB !

Maggots never give up

GWS but everyone is rootin for the dawgs.

My Hawthorn hate is stronger than my Demon love, this year.

The loudest shouts of "YESSSSS" in that third all year when they broke the game open. 3 years of pent up frustration explodes.

They all go around next year hahhaha.

And topping up with just enough talent to deny them the rebuilding talent they need, through early draft picks..

Awesome.

I will sleep easy tonight for the first time in 3 years.

The dark age is over.

I've always thought that anyone who said that is definitely doing it wrong.

4 kids later Nash, thats how much the Dees have cost me.

As a demon fan, my pessimism says which Dog will suffer a season ending injury in the dying minutes

Oh, Bruce. Didn't even get a chance to say 'Poppy' one last time.

Boo-hoo. You can hear the tears streaming down his face, it's like a river.

[censored] poor commentary really, The hawks are a disgrace. Spit the dummy when they lose. And throw in the towel and LOSE BIG whenever they DO lose. On target to meet their 30p/ losing margin avg

If I never seen brown and gold balloons on grand final day for the rest of my life, it will be far too soon.

Great night.

Doggies! Thank [censored] Hawthron are done and that there is still a reason to watch finals.

Bont is a star!

Bruce now consigned to spending the last quarter eulogising the Hawthorn era.

And now hanging on to a glimmer of hope.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
