leave it to deever 17,618 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 And watts is starting to believe in his strenght, skill and self
DemonDave 1,099 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I love the way if Watts kicks a goal Hogan is the first one over to him and vice versa, they've developed a great affinity down there this year.

He's a vastly more useful player in this team. Fantastic contested mark down back (Dawes? nope), serviceable key forward (Dawes? tick), powerful presence and link up player in the midfield when required (Dawes? nope), capable of rucking despite height (Dawes? nope).
Bombay Airconditioning 6,509 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Watched Watts 4 goals again today. Had a little bit of everything, my favourite was the set shot from out on the boundary, left pocket city end.

One of the goals he kicked was a set shot on 50 on an angle very similar to last week in Hobart, I think he got told in the week to back himself more. The players and coaches are showing confidence in him and he's growing from it. I'm loving the love between Watts and Hogan, their developing a really good relationship.
dazzledavey36 56,345 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The On the Couch crew were just pumping up the Watts Hogan combo.
Little Richard 6,265 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Watts and Hogan would [censored] all over McCarthy and Hogan. Just saying.
Damo 3,466 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I find Harmes looking to hit up Hogan more exciting.
At the break of Gawn 4,515 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Such a great combo. i think Watts is actually better as a deep forward if we have good ball movement as he tends to be able to get more of a gap between him and his defender on the lead. Hogan is still supreme on the one-on-one and has a bigger tank than Watts so he's also great up the ground.

Id be gnashing my teeth if JW had been traded and this form was being enjoyed by another team. I got it right. Very proud of Jack. And myself.
