How many will Hogan get on Saturday?

I'm tipping 8, Watts 5, Jeffy 4, Vanders 3 to win by 100 points, and go to second on the ladder...

Um it's Friday tomorrow but that is just a small thing. A good win combined with say 3 of those ahead of us losing will put us up to 6th or better I think. It will be nice whilst it lasts anyway.

How many will he get "tomorrow"?

I'm going out on a limb and saying 5 Tindr matches and 4 phone numbers.

depends, do we see the sooky looking for free kicks Jack Rewlodt clone or the real Jesse Hogan, 4 quarters like his last against the Giants he could kick 10, otherwise he could kick 0.5 and have 7 touches.

1-2. He'll be double and triple teamed throughout the match to cover for their inadequate key defenders.

Will be an ugly, scrappy game to watch.

It's a good question. Who's going to stop him? If he's over his marking issues from the last few weeks he could be in line to take a massive number of contested marks.

Anything could happen I guess, it will all depend on the supply he's given. I'm going to go with 9 goals, in a gigantic score.

I really can't work out whether you're serious.

I'm going with, hmmmm,  a joke.

Are we talking parking fines, phone numbers from women at nightclubs or pimples after a chocolate binge tonight? He sure as hell won't be kicking any goals tomorrow.

There were 11 posts when I opened this thread for the first time, and I reckon that's an omen.  Eleven for me!

So true.

I would be confident in saying Watts will get 2, Jeffy 3. Hoges, it'll all depends.

I wouldn't be surprised if Watts kicks more.

It'll be very likely that Hogan will be closely checked by multiple defenders throughout the day. The Bombers will want to play a low scoring affair to make up for their lack of scoring power. Dees by 40+, Hogan to kick 3.

Hogan will be double teamed and kick 3. Pedo to have a day out and kick 7 as a result.

Picket Fence liked it.

Kind of scary....

I am tipping a dean kent 5 goal haul

3 or 4. Don't think this game will be high scoring. Bombers will drag us down to their level by playing very defensive.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
