Ok Demonland, have an ant problem. Bad. They are under a foot path to my garden shed and seem to travel the whole property in search of food. Antrid has gotten them out of the house but can't get rid of the nest.

Any tips?

PS. Tried playing Collingwood theme song but the neighbours rang the police

I have found that with any pest  - home remedies or supermarket remedies rarely work -  call in the professionals if it is really bad - but a tip - ring around  - prices can really vary

I am trying to kill ants at my in laws at the moment as well. They (in laws) seem to be built on an ant hill.

Have been using borax and whilst I haven't yet wiped out the colony there has been a noticeable difference.

You mix the borax (cleaning agent) with honey and spread it near where they are moving around. But the key is also to mix borax with sugar because the ants bring solids back to the nest and that kills them in their.

let me know how you go.

What I did seems to have wiped them out but I am not sure if it might be just a change of season thing and they are staying in the ground?

If the neighbours complained about the music, try and entice the ants to move to the neighbours.

Two birds with one stone.

Job done.

The music is fine the neighbour is deaf. What he doesn't like is the empty stubbies over the fence. Perhaps I could load those with ants?

The best way to get rid of white ants is to force them to stand down from their seats at an upcoming election or sooner if possible - like Rudd/Gillard had to and hopefully Abbott... ( not those sort of white ants ?)

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
