Any word on whether we have?

A truck load of cash?

Would be counterfeit if we did.

What about a Howe for Motlop trade with a pick swap?

Perhaps the Cats would like the idea of Howe playing 2nd fiddle to Tomahawk.. or replacing the retiring Rivers/Enright across half back.

Not sure the cats will look to us again, Rivers has worked for them but I don't think the same can be said for Clark and Bleese.

Garry on TFS tonight following Damian Barrett's take on Prestia being courted by the Dees: "and he's (Prestia) a big fan of the Demons".

The deal with prestia has been in the pipework for quite a while. These things tend to be fairly advanced when purple finds out.

Or alternatively he finds rumours on football forums and turns it into "news" because so many people are willing and desperate to believe.

Prestia, Treloar, O'Meara, Dangerfield.

If we could land just one these players I would be ecstatic. Just imagine if we could trade for one and land danger as a free agent. Time to clean myself up and come back to reality :(

It's a bit ominous at the moment. Apparently Collingwood and North are frontrunners. Haven't heard anything about the Dees yet.

no point leading the race on the first corner; its the last you'd like to be traveling well at, & with a strong finish.

well, a truckload of the AFL'ss  cash will do then. can we get them to guarantee a loan or 2 ?

Gary seemed to know more than he was letting on.

imo gazza always knows more, than he lets off.

people like 'purple', only find things after they are left out, for him to sniff out. should have been a truffle finder, 'purple'. & let loose out in a big paddock.

a trade package to jag [Prestia/O'Meara] double, would be sensational. happy to run the risk on jeager's knee. imo, the Suns need some mature aged conservative type players, to settle that place down.

we need more talent. I can think of a few players we've rounded off nicely, that'll suit the Suns situation. take your pick from half our side.

Just what we need, another Toumpas Bash!!

We already know these things!

Time to Move on!

I am with you PF Some on here never ever wanted the Toump when he was picked

Never going to make it and whether it was Viney or neeld dosent matter

It was a monumental stuff up ( one of many ) Blind Freddy could see Wines was the real deal Just so typically MFC. That's what

Don't mind that though, you never know what we're planning. The Tyson trade came out of nowhere, so something like that could happen again this season. Fingers crossed.

Yes and Tyson has been a huge success so far Right?

Had an average season this year but excellent last year...how is Kelly going by the way?

A bit over the top there rjay

We may have gone for Bontempelli

We may have gone for Bontempelli

No. Wasn't seen in the mix. Roos liked Salem, wanted a deal to get a player and pick before 10 for Salem. Much more likely to have gone for Kelly if that didn't eventuate

We may have gone for Bontempelli

Fairly certain Billings is the one we would have selected.

We would have gone for matt scarenberg at pick 2 if not for the tyson trade

That's scarey

I thought the Pies got a steal when he slid down to 6, but he could well demand a trade back home without playing a game for Collingwood.

11 Brownlow votes and a few BOG's, he's had a down season but still yet to play 50 games.

They've had a few steals 'Chaser', Grundy was another at pick 18.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
