Garlett! Kicks his second.

Should be 5 goals up, haven't seen stats but looks like we have 5 posies to there 1 and they keep flooding back

Live stream via the club website works brilliantly on an iPad. I'm astonished.

Please tell me something I don't know or I'm missing?

Kicking against the breeze in that quarter. Huge quarter from Salem and Garlett.

Ignition, just go to the club website. Link to live stream is right on the front page. I'm just watching on my laptop.

Pretty good result so far kicking into a supposed 4 goal breeze. Did really well to hold onto the ball and considering the windy conditions pretty good foot skills as well.

Anyone else feel like one of the commentators (Craig Hutcherson maybe?) doesn't a damn clue what he's on about? He doesn't know any of the damn players, do some research! Plus every time he thinks he says something intelligent Liam Pickering contradicts him (and is right to).

Again the commentary taking away from my enjoyment of the footy.

Very pleased with Hogan and Salem so far :)

Garlett's crumbing was fantastic.

The telecast is hilarious. Is this what it was like to watch footy 30 years ago?

Love Salem down back.

how good is it when the skipper bodyslams somebody

we were all over them like Mike Tyson at a beauty Pageant that quarter

we should put them to the sword now with the breeze

Can anyone else access the video through the live app?

I get the impression it's not aired and if so I'm fuc*ing [censored]!

Pay for this subscription for the Dees and Dogs to get shafted again, yet they air that rubbish between GWS and a top up bombers unit.

Use that link and dont forget to press Play as the live feed doesn't start automatically

Thanks fellas, you're legends!

For some reason it's not being aired through the AFL live app.

Or

Must be two Salems out there - AFL site says 5 disposals, commentary put him in double figures!

Great tackling that quarter, and surprisingly few turnovers by foot given all our possessions. Now let's bang a few home with that breeze

Score please?

Thank you

Coverage is awful, but better than nothing. Still can't believe it's not even on Fox. Not sure what I'm paying a bazillion dollars a year for.

Neither.

Only so many episodes of 16 and Pregnant I wanna watch

Rubbish first quarter of football, so slow off half back, I want us to be more attacking now we have big forwards. I know they are controlling the game but I'm waiting for a mistake from eithor Garland or McDonald and they will get a quick turnover and goal.

We look a lot better with Toumpas/Salem kicking the ball out of defence, Lumumba providing run, Hogan providing a contest and Garlett crumbing. The game's being played at a training intensity but some decent signs early on. Four quarter performance is important.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
