Billy Stretch doesn't think he'll get on the park and will remain the emergency.

Did you get any insight on who will be the other emergency?

I think it will vandenBerg he hasn't had a full pre season like the rest have had.

I think McKenzie will play and Spencer will be a sub and replace Jamar near the end of the game.

Your thoughts?

I did not see Spencer today. I don't reckon he travelled.

I will bet my left nut that Frost plays forward tomorrow. Spending a lot of time on set shots.

is that a HH type of bet?

Quick note re Frosty. A Wesley old collegian who played as a key forwarding the juniors. Played front and back at GWS he is a genuine swing man and very athletic. No surprise to see him play up forward initially. Don't know of any quotes where Roos said he was recruited as a backman. If replacing Frawley, remember Frawley played up forward last season.

Good job on the training reports you two.

Training reports are like crack to me.

Better keep them away from Karmichael then. Too soon?

Thanks for the reports peopels. Not long now.

I agree, but i don't think Frost will be playing forward unless there are injuries.

Dawes, Hogan, Pederson, Gawn, Watts, Fitzpatrick all ahead of him as far as tall forwards

Watts isn't a tall forward, Fitzpatrick isn't ahead of him given he rarely strings two consistent sessions together and Dawes is suspended round 1, hence why I think he's in contention.

he is 196 cm, and has kicked bags of 3-4 playing as a key forward, i'd say he very much qualifies, I rate Fitzy, but it is a big year for him.

I think Pederson, Gawn, Hogan, Watts is plenty of tall targets for round 1, even without Dawes

the only place you could stream it would be through the foxtel go app. Which is what I'll be doing at work until I finish at 5:30.

3 and 4 aren't bags. He doesn't use that height and has taken about 1 strong mark a season for his career. Fitzy has some moves, but hasn't done enough to get in this squad.

Hogan, Pedersen and Gawn is probably the plan for round 1. But if one of those get injured Frost could be next in line.

There's also the possibility that he plays key back along with Dunn and McDonald, but after a tall forward/ruck from the other side gets subbed out (and after we sub out a ruck or key forward of our own) that Frost gets swung forward. The sub rule has created an opportunity for swing men.

Me and a mate are stuck in night class at uni...anyone know if its being streamed on AFL.com.au? Or a live stream somewhere?

It's been streamed through the AFL LIVE app which has a free NAB challenge trial.

It's also March. Skip the class and go to the pub.

Or send Howe forward for the first match with Frost in the backline?

Again, an option, but I've got him about 30% for round 1.

In place of Hogan?, why I thought most wanted him in rd 1 team as gorilla minder, this is just a shake down run after the four hour flight, I doubt whether they will be doing anything except loosen up, set shots are the perfect thing

So no one told you Frost was playing forward? Trouble in paradise...

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
