Forgot how good it was to listen to Derm and Shaw as commentators!

Pressure is so much better around the ground too. Forcing turnovers and not giving them easy kicks going forward. It's amazing how much better we look when we do it for more than a few minutes at a time.

How many can he give away in a game? Blegh.

Can anyone explain the in back rule while tackling to me?

Am I missing something about Garland?

Shaw and Dermie have said he is a "lovely", "good" and "great" player about 20 times.

If you push them in the back to the ground, it's a free kick....

toumpas had the opportunity at half-back to attack the ball - elected not to do so, but instead wanted someone else to go into the clinches. i really can't fathom how he was so highly rated. is sanfl and under age football that bad that he stood out so much? he looked a jet his underage year.

Thanks p to much there toump

I liked that Toumpas tried to actually have a dip. That is all we ask for.

I don't care if he gets caught, just back yourself in Jimmy.

...and in his next piece of play tries to get through a pack and get pinged for holding it.

Give it a rest!

Salem looks very reliable and smooth.

Mark it down, Vandenberg will be upgraded.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
