Who the [censored] knows, after this week my good sauce (me btw plus a few bevvies) is Crazy Vossy as our Coach and Buddy to be our KPD. Something to do with fishing.

This off season is a hoot!

I hadn't heard anything for nearly a week and thought this dead. hearing now things looking very positive.

for those scoring at home, same source that gave me Clark, Roos and Bartlett.

im very confident tonight.

If it happens u could knock me over with a feather!

I am getting worried we are going to throw everything we have at Danger! Please we need more than one elite player. I will take 3 or 4 B graders before one A grader. We need a quantity of competitive players not just one gun. I keep thinking Templeton, Moore and where that got us. And I keep thinking Mitch Clark who turned out for 10 weeks to be elite and then.....where did we end up long term? Short answer nowhere.

Whatever we do at least keep one pick for Brayshaw or equivalent please.

Confident that Dangerfish reeled in a big snapper at Moggs Creek, I'm pretty sure.

I'm not that greedy, my lord. One elite player would be a really good bloody start.

Does this contradict what JJH said he heard about us pursuing Beams in the Trengove to Richmond thread?

Probably. Whoever is wrong has to do a lap of the G at our first home game next year with their pants down.

Agree an elite is a good start but what's the cost 2,3 and 12? And what have we gone past in that sort of deal? Much rather we trade pick 3 for a Tyson like deal with pick downgrade but keep 2 for the best available myself. The Trengove deal I don't like.

Mate I have Beams and Dangerfield already inked in for 2015.

Beams for the 2015 Norm Smith.

Have we got enough picks, players for that to work?

What happens when neither Beams or Danger come to us? :P

Can have both.

If we get pick 12 all of a sudde we can break up pick 2&3 for 2 separate package deals, say 2 and our second rounder for beams, and 3 and 12 for Danger or whatever combination.

Danger and Beams in iur midfield? Sorry I love you Trenners, but that's a deal that must get done!

Who the hell needs the real season? This off season stuff is way better.

Time to abolish those stupid home and away games.

don't worry, by 2050 the afl will morph into a virtual reality internet competition anyway

Obviously it's a ridiculous fantasy but.. Trenners is one of our highest paid players. Offloading him would allow us to pay Danger $1m/year and Beams $800k/year. Lock both into 6 year contracts and it's financially tempting, especially if they both know one another are coming to the club and on-field success suddenly looks very healthy.

Picks 3 and 12 will get it done for Beams. Trade off a Watts/Howe/Grimes type for another first rounder and we can package pick 2 and ~10 for Danger.

Not as farfetched as it seems.

Christ this trade period is out of control. Is he, isnt he all over the shop.

I would take a week to think about coming to melbourne as well... especially on a nice Island.

the whole footy world is in slow motion for patty.

Let the games begin...

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
