The culture of this club of expecting first year players to be impacting regularly week after week is a significant factor in why we're stagnant on the bottom. That's how it's damaging.

You said he needs to do more. No, he doesn't. Grimes, Garland, Howe, Frawley, Jamar, Watts, they 'need' to do more. Salem is a first year player. They don't 'need' to do anything other than show a future, and that's exactly what Salem has done. He has shown an appetite for the contest, a willingness to work hard, and skill with ball in hand.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but you should be prepared to be called out on it, especially when it's as bad as this one.

The thing I love about Salem (besides his sublime skills) is that he has put his body on the line multiple times and he has backed into packs multiple times

he is tough and has no fear, also when he tackles he tackles hard

His balance is amazing too

He is a great all around player, who lacks AFL fitness and thats understandable at this stage
