I really hope trade week can start in earnest so we can forget talking about such garbage! Leave the song alone!

You have a short memory about talking garbage demoneyes. Your granny effort last year still has you on ignore with 70% of Landers.

So he still has room to improve.

I'm batting at 88.

IF the song changes. It needs to happen organically.

Not because the club thinks it's a good marketing move. Our that they don't like the old one.

I'd the adopters tally want change, they'll push for change. But any change coming from the top will feel horribly commercial.

The "it's Melbourne's grand old flag" suggestions are terrible. It doesn't fit right and will feel forced every time.

I'm floundering at about 45% Biff. Seriously got to offend more sensitive petals on here.

BBO is around 88 as well. Years of age, that is.

What about this version, problem solved!

It’s a grand old flag
It’s a high flying flag
It’s the emblem for me and for you
It’s the emblem of the team we love
The team of the Red and the Blue
Ev’ry heart beats true
For the Red and the Blue
And we sing this song to you (What do we sing!)
Should old acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eye on the Red and the Blue

....... Owww wait it sounds a little too familiar.

Leave it alone you muppets.

Toady, do you sing GOF whilst having a dump on one of your 6 toilets?

"And we sing this song to poo..."

Wouldn't be surprised.

What are you talking about Moonie I only have 5 toilets

so it should be written spontaneously, with weed in the room.

No.

You have inserted two syllables where there used to be one.

Folks, just because you jam it in, doesn't mean it works.

Well spotted Hardie, I don't remember seeing this thread. You're right they should be merged. Not sure why this one was locked. Also have no idea what TSFKA's problem is. Must be off the meds.

pal, i never once said it was you.

And I never once suggested you did... it was a comment on why the thread starting post was rubbish; tonatopia is possibly the only poster to have given enyaw a run for their money.

the bit about the flag sucks

& there is nothing about playing & looking out for one another, or how we have one anothers backs, you know the old ozzie way of backing one another...

the words are just words of nothing. the tune is great.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
