Ralph was a very amenable bloke,very approachable,very low key about his Dees days. Ralph made many advances on behalf of the AFL..or VFL as it was when he went on board

Ralph was a very good footballer and a great runner. He was in the Frankston Athletic Club where I was also a member. No one could keep up with him. He really attacked the footy at full speed and played an important role in the 1956 premiership. Ralph played for the Frankston Bombers and when Frankston played Hastings he was always given the tough task of playing on a guy by the name of John Coleman! Despite giving away 7 cms in height he curbed the Hastings champion keeping him reasonably quiet. He was a really pleasant, unassuming man who will be missed. My sympathy goes to his loved ones. RIP Yachter!

Well said Bobby - he did so much for football and for Melbourne that people sometimes forget that he was a great footballer and a premiership Demon.

RIP Ralph, you were a part of my earliest memories of the MFC and a member of the '56 flag side. A team recognised as one of the most powerful of all time.

Condolences to his family and friends. He was a nice bloke and very unassuming. Had a great involvement with football and especially the MFC.

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present. Kozzy not present either.  Mini Rehab group has broken off from the match sim (contact) group: Max, Trac, Lever, Fullarton

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
