To qualify you have to have had to of played at least one game for the club since we last played finals (2007). I have also tried to leave out the guys who only played one or two games. There were many honourable mentions and I can't help but wonder what the average losing margin of this team would be. For the record, this process was highly therapeutic. Here it is:

FB: T. Gillies - N Caroll - R Ferguson

HB: N Jetta - J. Sellar - J Mcdonald

C: S Buckley - C Morton - D Nicholson

HF: M Bate - M Newton - Byrnes

FF: C Pedersen- D Hughes - A maric

R: J Spencer - J Gysberts - S Godfrey

Int: J Meesen - J Strauss - C Johnson - J Bode

Pedo for captain

Edit: who's J Mcdonald?

Edited by TheoX

Joel Macdonald in there instead of Jamie Bennell?

Fairly negative about some of our past and current players.

Nothing good will come of this thread.

As much as I don't like Byrnes he would laugh at you and ask how many AFL premierships you have won .

Or even how many Afl games you played.

The list of disappointments is long for coaches, players, fans and staff.

The greatest fark ups are the recruitment of prendergast and royal who just muddled by for years.

The list of assistant staff that have drawn a wage from us and given nothing in return is far worse.

I would like to see the entire club running laps at 5 am with Jackson up front.

Not sure I can agree on Carroll. He may have been a prize idiot, but he was tough and worked damn hard. I think a lot of people underrate him on here.

With some of the errors and efforts Frawley has put in I've mistaken him for Carroll lately :P

This is counter productive.

I think it is quite entertaining TSFK.

There are far more players to talk about.

Imagine if M S got up the worst 50 players of the last ten years

We would get 40 of the 50.

I reckon we are Monty's to win something in the AFL.

Bit tough on Carrol, had few skills but still gave 100%. Gysberts played 2 fantastic games.

Are some posters trying to play down how good Frawley is so it hurts less if he leaves?

Otherwise I can't understand these opinions.

He's still one of our best.

That may well say more about the list than Frawley Machsy.

Having said that he will play well at Hawthorn

would probably still beat our current side.

would probably still beat our current side.

Close run thing but current side by a goal.

Threads don't come more moronic that this.

What about Kyle Cheney. Oh hang on he's playing centre half back for the premiers

Godfrey ???????? We would love to have him back now

6 months ago you would have had Dunn in there and now he's in our best

I seem to remember people here canning Nathan Jones in his first couple of years

Maybe we should wait till players careers finish before we make our keyboard judgments

Based on our current scoring power, i'm not confident we could kick a goal

Yes, I know you think you're being clever by incessantly saying that, but if anything it's just boring.

I agree. We have enough [censored] to deal with. I can be negative at times but this is totally counter productive and unfair to blokes who have given their all. And .. dare I suggest, that is more than some of the posters on this thread.

What a [censored] thread. Talk about disrespectful of guys who have played for the club. You are a [censored] demondominator. Do you even barrack for Melbourne?

Calm down it is just bit of fun in these dark years!
