According to melbournefc.com.au, there are two open training sessions at Goschs Paddock this coming week:-

Wednesday 12 March - 9:30am and

Friday 14 March - 9:30am

and all other training sessions are closed sessions.

Let's hope that some extra tall timber are in evidence and that one or two can play for Casey at the weekend on the way to a berth in round one.

Is that too much to ask?

I hear they are having a passing out parade for no. 10

The word is he is taking early retirement so as not to embarrass himself any further.

I am with chippy I had to wash my hair this morning.

Seriously I think there is an intra club match this friday so most would probably prefer to go to that.

So far I have none from two Akum.

first match I picked the whites and blues got up

So the next time I went for the blues and the whites got up.

As my wife would say "all in the life of a Dees supporter "

I know we had a terrible defeat on the weekend but the support has to stay. It was only NAB cup and Hawthorn is exceptional. All local melbournian demon fans that are unemployed or not actively seeking work should be on the sidelines making notes or taking photos. Im an interstater... Im dying to hear how training has been since the loss. Does anyone have any updates regarding our forward line. Will Dawes and/or Hogan be playing round 1? Will Jack Viney play round 1? What was Roos like at training?

I did not go but I can confidently predict that Dawes and Hogan will be in the outer with us in round 1

I am nearly unemployed and will be actively seeking work, but have leave that they want me to burn so payout is not larger, so going to go Friday morning at this stage, will put a report on this esteemed forum, doubt whether there is an Intra Club as somebody said, think Casey have another practice game lined up this weekend so assume there will be some MFC players playing. As for the group, spoke to Jack Grimes, everybody is still on the same page and know they either perform or spend the year at Casey, so I assume when I go to training it will be full on

Usually there would be a training report pretty much straight after training finishes.

I haven't read a report in a fair few weeks, I know one week it was only closed sessions I'm pretty sure, but it's pushing 3-4 weeks since I last saw an actual training report...

So Hogan and Dawes are not ruled out for round one

Probably a scare tactic to get the Saints nerves into gear.

For what it's worth I watched Roos talk to Watts one on one for about five minutes today. Was making a lot of hand gestures so I'm assuming he was teaching him a new evasive technique or something.

We also had scouts watching Collingwood training today. Should add fuel to the fire that Roosy already has his team working on poaching players later this year.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
