All Australian

It's been a while since we were represented and I wonder just who will be our next all-Australian. Our list looks so much better after only a short period with a new coaching regime and you wonder whether it will be one of our younger players or someone about to step up into the AFL stratosphere.

Personally, I think that Chip Frawley is the most likely and I think that Howe is also a strong chance.

Thoughts?

As I said in another thread, I would not be surprised, now that he is not taking on the role of entire midfield, Jones would have to be a very good chance.

Premature expectation

Impossible to judge yet....wait till we have played at least five rounds

Premature expectation

If you suffer from this, they say to think of something else....like what Demetriou looks like naked......or is that just me?

Just you!

Bit early?

I'm not suggesting that it will be this year. I'm just speculating on where our next all-Australian may come from.

Personally, I would just love it to be Jack Watts. He has put up with a lot of scrutiny throughout his career and loads of negative press. It just would be nice to see him able to give the finger to the doubters.

If Jack Watts is All Australian, we're playing finals.

Jack Grimes would have to be half a chance off the half back flank.

I can see it now, Watts has a blinder and carves it up in the midfield and is named in the All Australian team as a forward.

You sure they know about him?

Sorry but I could not help myself.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about him. That would be great as well.

Dan Nicholson.

Long Lunch GTG?

You should be in AA.

Kerro?

Yeah, bit early, but hey.

Frawley, Garland, Jones and Clark would seem to be the ones with a 'credible starting position'.

Grimes might deliver the quality but doesn't have the runs on the board that AA selectors seem to like.

Since it's wild speculation time, I'll go for Howe. There are a hell of a lot of forwards like him to choose from, but what the hell......
