Good luck with that one nutbean.

Grimes and Trengove to have good seasons playing in their correct positions i.e. Half Back and Half forward respectively.

Strauss to play every game next year and top 5 in the B&F

Strauss to play every game next year and top 5 in the B&F

Damn it................I was going to go with Strauss!

I'll say Sam Blease All Australian on the HFF !

Nathan Jones to stop skirting packs and start winning some hard ball every now and then.

Frawley and other supposedly elite players kick on their non preferred foot rather than run back in to traffic.

It's ok I'll share Strauss with you if you want.

.... after all it looks like me taking him forced you to step a little further into 'Outrageous' than you perhaps needed to ;)

max gawn to be in All Australian form

Jack Watts to play with the intensity and courage of Jonathan Brown.

Sam Blease to break Abletts streak and win a MVP 6 years in a row

max gawn to be in All Australian form

Max Gawn to be my personal minder and press floor 77 on the Eureka Tower lift because I am too short to reach.

I'd be happy if he became our Ted Fidge. We can reset his goals from there

Sylvia to have a breakout season.

settle down

your just being silly now

THINK before you post

Jack Watts

Colin Sylvia to win a Bluey realising all that built up untapped potential from finally doing a full pre season.

For Jack Watts to chill the fark out when there's an opportunity to win the ball at a contest.

He's going to kill himself otherwise..

Maybe I've misunderstood, but do you mean one of the other Jacks, ie, Viney?

Grimes off half back is the most obvious one.

I'd really hope for Howe and/or Watts on a wing.

If I had to predict improved performance from a midfielder I'd go with McKenzie re-affirming himself as a tackling machine and decent player.

Jetta and Magner to play every game and become important contributors in our midfield.

(Assuming both of them are even here in a months time...)

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
