Just turned my tv off. Disgusted by the umping.

but id like to say one thing.

MAN UP!!!!!!

doggies payback in spades

big cleanout come eos

I'm so over this playing group.

They have the nerve to scrap and fight after the siren and run off the ground with intent even though they just had a football spanking for 30 minutes prior from a team that's at the same place we are in terms of experience and talent.

They have the nerve to put their names to articles by the club saying that the administration is 'winning them back'.

It's pathetic. At what point do they take responsibility? Give me a [censored] reason to buy a membership players. Please. It's a disgrace.

Hopefully his last match with this club has offered us nothing for years

Toumpas worked hard when Rob Murphy sprinted off down the ground when Griffen had the free and he busted a gut to follow him all the way down

Just got to do it again and again and again. Like Murphy runs up and down the ground again and again and again. These are the lessons for Toumpas and Kent. I'm not sure Watts will ever get it, I hope so but he needs to give a 1st, 2nd, 3rd whatever it takes effort.

geeez we did not need that quarter. Massive second half coming up with careers on the line

3 players have gone due to retirement and by the looks of this rubbish another 7-10 players should be given marching orders also!

Priority pick, here we come ...

Funny how the Fox Footy commentators are polishing our knobs now it looks like one of their mates might be our coach next year.

What are they saying Clint?

in -

Roos

Hogan

pick 1 and 3

Out -

all the spuds

softness

laziness

What are they saying Clint?

That we have great potential and could be like this years Port next year.

"Not far from a finals side"

Are we happy this is the last game of the season?

My grandma could've marked that yet Watts drops it. Where's the skills!!!

it was not in his contract to take the mark.

we were always getting it

Sellar, Davey, Jetta shouldn't be there next year. It's embarrassing that number isn't higher.

Some others like Dunn and Spencer shouldn't be anywhere near a round 1 team.

The big white hope is that we get a big improvement from some guys this preseason.

it was not in his contract to take the mark.

Neelds restrictive coaching stopped him marking it?

Good boy Watts.

TV just went off. Can't watch any more of this without the TV being in danger of having a hole in it before much longer. Only held out this long to hear the discussion about what Roos might do. If I was him I would be turning over 15 or so in the off season.

Good boy Watts.

I would rather see the "bad boy Watts"

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
