Yes the Norwood job is coming up next year.

Hogan is contracted until the end of 2015.

What is your problem??

I Have no problem at all, I was just highlighting that Gold coast managed to extend Jack Martins contract and we haven't done the same with Hogan.

I just don't see what the problem is with the few that are knocking me for posting it.

Not true... you gave the thread the provocative title of "We could lose Jesse Hogan" and then opened with the line "Its been reported today that Jesse wont agree to a contract extension." which was a complete fabrication. Slight difference.

Probably just demon fans projecting their fears and anxieties DZ. Don't let the DL Greek chorus get to you.

Wouldn't it be great if the MFC was in such good shape that Hoges was desperate to re - sign. Says good things about where GC are at that JM was prepared to. Oh to have hope!

Heard this rumour a few weeks ago - it's plausible

If the Roos to Essendon story is true then someone must have injected a dose of enthusiasm for coaching into Roosy.

Dank?

Certainly plausible but not probable. I wouldn't think the Essendon job would look all that attractive at the moment; you wouldn't even know if they were playing for points next year or not. I know that outcome is extreme and unlikely, but my point is that you would have no idea what you were signing up for at Essendon, and Roos doesn't strike me as the sort to gamble with his potential coaching career.

Thanks mate, some people are just bad sports and like to eat their own.

if hird gets the arse it will be part of a package of sanctions - the future picture will be clear

Perhaps if you hadn't served yourself up on a platter?

... and Roos doesn't strike me as the sort to gamble with his potential coaching career.

That's a worry because I think Melbourne is a gamble, make or break his legacy. If he turns it around would be looked upon in history as one of the greatest, failure to do so and he'll fall back to a good premiership coach with Sydney but not the best.

Exactly....how can people not see this?

Too think that MFC is more attractive to coach is being ignorant......

I heard a runour that Redleg had been contacted to coach Essendon next season or was that Carrot Top?

Anyway Whisper Jack is a certainty for the PM role in Canberra at the next election.

Demonlanders will be taking over control of the UN shortly so the fubding/sponsorship problems at the MFC will be solved forever.

Does anybody have Hird's number, I need to get his pharmacist phone number so I can get some of his special cream as the Drugs I just taken is wearing off!

Oh my last tip is that Melbourne will win the 2014 Premiership!

This place has double standards big time, talk about a boys club!

why are you a girl?

Do we have a Frogs Club as well?

I didn't comment on the attractiveness of the MFC coaching job.

The real question Nasher is when are you going to get an avatar?

As an Primary Admin you should have one.

LOL

I heard a rumour Mark Neeld was a chance for the Essendon job!

I heard a rumour Mark Neeld was a chance for the Essendon job!

wrong

he applied and got knocked back on account of the fact he wanted the players to shorten their handballs to a distance of half a metre.also he wanted them to kick sideways and occasionly strait to the opposition,

the new president of Essendon was uncomfortable with the fact that neeld expected the players could already handpass over half a metre

NEXT

I read Eddie McGuire is touting Roos as being a great replacement for Hird. I don't think he is serious. Just [censored] stirring at this stage but is a posibilty. If Roos is interested he will have to consider the anticipated harsh sanctions and the very deep old boys mentality which will find it difficult to accept a brash stranger replacing their dear one.

why are you a girl?

Nahh mate just not in in the clique group some of you seem to be in.

I heard a rumour Mark Neeld was a chance for the Essendon job!

would give him a reference.

As I really love the guy.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
