I vote for this thread to be locked. It's run its course.

The draft is still to come 'titan', but maybe it's time for a new all encompassing draft thread.

Rumour - Totally unsubstantiated:

Scott Watters is in discussions with the Demons for the heir apparent role.

Wish he'd been sacked earlier, this would have been a perfect Halloween post :P

Derby Day BBQ.

The guy there knows one of the recruiters.

A Roos 'project' - nearly choked on me lamb kebab.

I would have thought that the entire MFC is a 'project!'

I read today the Mel B was banned from appearing on CH10's The Project. I am shattered. Sexiest woman going around in my opinion.

No way - Francesca Cumani.....rivals Natalie.

Hmmm had a look on google. Very nice but no match. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am thinking we could never agree but gee I think we could have a good date with either.

For someone who once played for Blackburn North and St Peters, I think you might be out of your league here.

Sure, but how many rumours are there going to be about who we draft? Given the leaks coming out of the club right now, I'd say none. It's all mainly opinions from here on out, or phantom orders etc.

Yep, and we keep repeating them. Bring on the season, please.....and let us have a season not just one game to extinguish our hopes, please....

OK. I'll go with the big draft rumour of the day.

Rumour has it that after taking advice from the club's consultant on draft matters, a Mr. Prendergast, Melbourne will pass on pick 9 due to a lack of suitable candidates for the position. The following potential candidates were considered but found unworthy:-

Acres - concern over shoulder injury

Aish - too outside

Billings - probably out of our reach

Bontempelli - tall for a mid and might not fit the bill

Boyd - can't fit him into the side

Crouch - lacks the necessary athleticism

Dunstan - one sided, poor disposer of the ball

Freeman - query by some on disposal

Garlett - too much of a behavioural risk

Hartung - too small

Kelly - definitely out of our reach

Kolodjashnij - name too hard to pronounce

Lennon - tested poorly and not really a midfielder, more a half forward

Rioli - too fat

Salem - didn't do enough at national carnival

Scharenberg - a utility, not a mid

Sheed - one paced and doesn't tackle enough

Taylor - midget, no defensive game

No decision has been made as yet as to whether the club would utilise pick 40 (which of course, now becomes pick 39).

Yeah, I got that Hoodie - having said that, playing churches footy doesn't preclude one from having a good eye and refined taste.

You hang in there....

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
