hopefully he does what grundy/Membrey did last year and slips down the draft for us.

Today's Hun has Zac predicted as a first round pick! That creates a dillema for us unless we get a PP.

If he is worth it, we should be lobbying the AFL now, like the other clubs have, to get Essendon's pick so we can get a player's brother. We could undertake to take him if he is there at that pick.

That does have some feel good factor in it for the AFL.

I reckon he'll be there at 20,

it's abit like Brodie Grundy, teams will have been looking at certain players for the first round all year and planning around that, I reckon all the teams will be hoping he slips to the second round and will pick up the blokes like Sheed who may slide abit with picks 10-20

Started alright in the TAC cup grand final. Hard at it but nothing eye catching. Boyd however 2 kicks 2 goals

yes but clubs interested, will know he is likely to be taken @ 20 & may jump us.

I think clubs will be going best available instead of trying to jump us on Jones. I reckon most clubs won't have him in their top 20 so we should be safe there.

Might not be the worst thing, if he is taken early and a Freeman or Crouch slips through to us I won't be crying, I doubt they will though, I reckon we'll be right with 20

I hope you right & I hope we can get some more picks in the area.

I'd like to pickup about 3 - 4 mature players & about 4 draftees. & some rookies

Sorry but can't agree!

One possible downside of our very successful trade period so far is that Zac may fall out of our reach.

But then perhaps all the other potential suitors have heard the very strong rumours about his really bad knees - only expect a season or maybe two maximum out of them. And "the other issues"!

worth a go ...

Zac will go with pick range 25-35 IMO.

I am excited by all our trading but gutted Zac may go elsewhere. If we don't get him, I hope an interstate team does so we can "bring him home in 2 years

An afterthought - could we still perhaps get some interest in the 20s for Jamar? Someone who needs a mature tap ruckman for one or two years max? Or a package of some sort?

I'm never pedantic, but max?? You must mean maximum.

BTW, this a joke mono. Or should I say monoccular!

It's sad to say, but after his performances over the past two seasons, we'd probably have to pay someone to take him.

Actually, not a bad idea. Perhaps a club needing an experienced ruck with salary cap pressure might give up a pick around 25-29 for Jamar if we paid half his contract?

Can't see why anyone would given his intollerance to all races and and pending police investigation...... ;)

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
