The recruiters will have to earn their money with this draft. Not that I'm an expert, but I'm seeing more Farren Ray's and Ryce Palmer's with some of the top mids, rather than Judd's or Ablett's. As others have mentioned the guy from SA does have a bit of Goddard about him, but having a look at him in the midfield would have been preferable. Unlike a certain other bloke we took who was around the same height he does seem very willing to go in when it is his turn. He does seem to have leadership and elite footskills.

Yeah you're probably right, no similarity at all and anyway, Cale wasn't tearing it up as a junior like Josh is, was he.

Anyway Cale is now a hulking 192 cms and 88 kgs.

Morton cut dangerfield a new a-hole in one game which put dangerfield down the list and Morton up. There is nothing about josh Kelly that in any way is similar to cale Morton, unless its endurance or beep test stats. 2 entirely different bodies and shapes.

Morton was the player of the Carnival in his year and also the fittest. I for one never doubted Cale's work ethic, especially in his first couple of seasons. It was his physical side and skills which let him down.

There's a podcast, but it's only about 30 secs of a 15 minute interview.

Said Billy has all the attributes of his father, who BP played against.

Really has the desire to go with the skills. Will play for SA next year.

Also should grow another couple of inches.

I had the privilege of catching up with the Stretch family, and young Billy is a great young kid. Extremely well mannered. I asked him if he was looking forward to coming to Demonland at the end of next year and he replied ... I hope so, if I am good enough. He is very much looking forward to next year. Only negative ... he has the build of his old man ... very lean ... needs a few steaks into him.

If the physical side of things and his skills let him down, then his work ethic should be put in question.

He should've worked harder on his skills and definitely should've worked harder on his body.

Cale come to us a stick figure and left the club as a stick figure.

His work ethic was nothing short of pathetic, on the field and judging by his body and lack of skills, his work ethic off field was also pathetic.
