Who thinks we can beat WC?

Would anyone be surprised if we won?

cameron would be. but i expect a good day out and some light somewhere at the end of the tunnel

Made Cox captain in Dream Team and Supercoach for this week, he will crap all over Jamar. We will get trounced.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Win? I just want to see the players actually play as something that loosely resembles a team.

Yep. Neeld keeps talking about the 'core' of players that he can BUILD a team around. I guess the implication is that the others are just filler until he recruits or develops some better players.

A competitive effort would be good. I'm not expecting us to go from doh to whoa in one game.

I dont want to be just competitive i want a bloody WIN.

Yep we will win.

I'm afraid it might be a 100-point loss again.

They will trounce us in the middle, put the backline under pressure, and eventually it will unravel again, probably mid-way through the 2nd, or perhaps at the start of the 2nd half.

Boy is it going to be a long season.

Ill be happy if its under 10 goals what will happen if we loose buy 100 again

I know this sounds stupid, but I reckon we have an outside chance. It's at the G and the Weagles are injury depleted.

I also reckon Port and Essendon are better than people think.

And, despite our absolutely loathesome, pathetic performances thus far in season 2013, we're not actually quite as bad as people think.

$16 for Melb to win under 39.5 on sportsbet....

A lazy 5-10 on it...never know!

The Dees are in to $13 H t H from $15 on Bet365 (but I suppose 40 or less is the way to go).

Relax. We've got this.

Right you are - sounds stupid.

Typical- Kerr and Le Cras come back this week.

I'm tipping something worse than the port game but not as bad as the Essendon game - 113 point margin.

Neeld will have one last chance to get the boys up v's GWS.

Only way we will win is if they are picked up by a Indian bus driver on Saturday and he takes them to waverly

I'd like to think we can keep the margin under 150 points.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
