Troy Davis was also a late withdrawal from Casey due to being ill.

They have their own I think. Probably have gold class passes to MSAC anyway given Eddie's pull.

The only "pull" Eddie has is usually hand driven !!! I think he is also the Elitist [censored] that said he sends his kids to a Private school to ensure they get a good education... He has forgotten where his roots are (Broady Boy)

MFC have said Watts, Davis & Kent were ill. Rumours that Jordie was also Crook.

Its hardly 1/2 a team, but if there were a few more that were under the weather then maybe i'll rock up the the G this weekend with slightly more optimisim

I had the latest strain of Flu (type B according to blood test) in the US a couple of months back, night sweats, lost appetite and 5 kg.

I too hope this is the reason...

PS. Pride left the room a while back RR

I'm sorry, but there's no "reason" for losing by 140-points other than just not being up to the task. Having the "flu" barely passes for a day off from preps, let alone to be let off the hook for two weeks of insipidness.

I don't think anyone has suggested it was the reason Cudi/

edit: errr I stand corrected. Just read someone who did..lol

Agree with you .lol.

Jordie suffered a calf strain in warm up.

No you're confused. The calf strain is the name of this particular virus. Terrible. terrible strain. Leaves a person unable to run, tackle, man up, understand instruction, hit the ball clear of congestion, lead into space, smother, chase or jump.

Which moderator keeps deleting my posts in this thread? And why?

I can't register my disapproval at "the flu" being used as an excuse for two of the worst performances in the MFC history?

There is a virus doing the rounds and I've had it (still have) it's pretty bad and if any of the players have it I feel for them. I got a call from Robbo on Friday about some FH stuff and I told him I was too sick to talk, he mentioned that one of his band had it as well. My son's Fiance has it and has been off work for a while.

I lost 1 & 1/2 kilos in a day.

Could you send it over to me RobbieF I could handle a 1.5 kg weight loss.

Seriously are we this desperate to explain our inabilities.

If a couple of guys had the flu why did they play?

WE had an excess ( above the 12 allowed ) at Casey so there were plenty of players available to fill 22 spots.

Sounds like cobblers to me.
