This is just because he needs another 12 months to sew up that big China deal :)

Exactly, being our sponsors is like putting up your company signage around a horrific car crash; people may not like what they see- but at least you'll get some media exposure.

We always attract more than our fair share of media attention. In good times (lol) and in bad. They love us.

I think we get more attention than say North, or Bulldogs or even St.Kilda (or perhaps I just notice our stories more)

We actually get more attention than nearly any side.

Controversy creates publicity and we have had plenty of it.

Think of a side like the Bullies, they are so irrellevant and boring that no-one even notices them,

at least we get noticed and opposition supporters hate us - which usually means we are nearly back in business:)

Excellent. Well done to all involved.

In a number of the previous posts Cam got the approbation - WYL noted that it is a broader involvement. Members who can remember the '80s will know the name Peter Maynard. Maxie is up to his neck in this - and more. Go Dees!

and it was as such I noted and extended the thanks to all in the OP.

Fully appreciate its a team effort. Having said that CS get a lot of stick , much unwarranted so allow him to smile in this instance as well.

Hes probably out looking at desks anyway ^_^

Webjet should do a marketing campaign with our own frequent flyer, Jeremy Howe.

Great stuff Webjet.

Such as?

Ahhhhh.......very good! i like it!

What's it worth?

No idea but I think it is safe to assume a lot less that the likes of Collingwood, Hawthorn, Essendon and Carlton get.

When we start winning a reasonable number of games we can ask more.

The good news is we have two major sponsers signed for 2013 on 14Th September 2012

Now what will we talk about between January and April?

Now what will we talk about between January and April?

Whatever ridiculous controversy that we in no way instigated but are blamed relentlessly for being involved in, even though we could not avoid said train wreck, of course...

Now what will we talk about between January and April?

I know you are not serious Demonator

But I can think of about 30 items that still need resolution.

e.g. what is happening with the tanking inquiry?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
