We exist in Perth too.

I think RPFC was just stating his preference, I would agree with him as well. If I was a melbourne player I would want to bow out at the MCG

Hopefully the banner will read ...Green was Gold.

Speaking of that colour......................, it would be a nice irony for us to use one Scully compensation to pinch Greene off GWS.

Well seeing Greeny's last game was the only upside to attending the round 23 clash at Subi! Now it'll be more of the same, get hammered to numb the pain of a 10 goal hiding!

Nearly happened to a few of us in the GWS game at the G...

Makes me think that as opposed to Greeny being pushed to leave, he is keen to finish and move on in his life.

I suspect if you can not see yourself being a part of our next successful phase, the prospect of another gruelling pre-season pushing yourself harder than ever before with no guarantee of games would be unappetising.

Best wishes to you Brad, may you live long and prosper.

Happy for him to be farewelled at home. On a separate note, it is an unmitigated disgrace that teams still have to travel interstate in the final round. With two teams in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and SE Queensland this shouldn't happen, regardless of how intense teams feel their little derbies are. Don't want to hijack the thread though, carry on!

With apologies to WA demons fans, I'm glad he's choosing to end it at the G. Seems appropriate to me that he get chaired off at his home ground for his entire career in front of the members.

As I was stating mine.

Why not be chaired off at both grounds and give all his supporters the chance of cheering him off.

The difference here is him wanting to play his last game on the MCG and I can understand that.

rpfc should take his blinkers off every now and then.

A fair point. I guess Brad made the decision which he feels is the right one for him. You cant please everybody though.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
