Late change: McKenzie out, Magner in. Magner the sub.

I'm about to head into the G. Looking forward to some sun and a win. Or is the sun a bad omen? Or am I just a little paranoid?

GO DEES

Mike Sheahan on the pre game getting stuck in. Thinks this is as big a game as we have played in for a long time, and if we lose we need to have a long hard look at ourselves. Well Mike, I can tell you the club needs to have a long hard look at itself regardless of today's outcome and I actually think this afternoon's result is close to as unimportant as it can get.

Also said that tanking is when clubs don't put teams out there that have the best chance of winning, which again is completely wrong.

Leading up to the game and they have that idiot Sheahan on talking about tanking and replaying the Couch.

This is a joke.

Kick us in the teeth before the game, its not like they haven't kicked us in the teeth enough this week.

FOX AFL Sunday Pre-Game show, on now.

Sheahan having another crack at Melbourne, Matthew Campbell and Lynch joining the line up to stick the boots in.

Saying they aren't having a go at the players, laying the blame at the feet of the CEO,coach and board. Saying that if found true, equates to match fixing and those responsible should be excluded from "the industry".

Pushing the line that a loss today will be a crisis for the club, and that none of our young players have developed - indicating a problem with culture inside the club

So Freo resting 9 players for a game in Melb prior to finals is tanking? Git to get our definitions straight Mike huh??

Morton tagging Ablett - interesting....

Morton tagging Ablett - interesting....

Ablett's got 12 possessions at the 22min mark... hmmm

Mike Sheahan becomes more irrelevant to the game as the years go by....

Id love a stream as well fellas!! :) Im at home babysitting today...

Demons 41

Suns 1

And who was worried ?

I was worried!

So this is what it's like to play against a team with no structure, no run and no fitness.

no tankin 2day it would seem

Suns just kicked 2 in row.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
