Did you get that from Robbo's twitter?

No RR's link from Caro.

Dees to win this one. 5 outs for the tigers Martin, Connors, Jackson, King and Grimes.

Tigers are a middle of the road side. We will get them this weekend, just need to keep Reiwoldt quiet and work hard against their quicker midfield.

Interesting - before she had said he'd miss the Dees game but the rest is unsure. Has she picked up news or is there inside word? Never sure how these things get out.

Big news if he's made the same mistake as Connors - Connors gets the sack and Martin gets two weeks (obviously Connors has the history, but you'd surely want to lay down the law to young Martin).

Everybody knows what Martin gets up to Richmond don't have the balls to sack him

I Maric, Cotchin, Foley and Tuck (plsu rotations with their quick runners) still wins a lot of clearances. Frawley usually beats Reiwoldt but I still think they have us covered this week DW.

I don't know!

Im getting on the dees this week $5 sounds nice to me.

I still dont rate this team that high.

We were well in front of richmond 12 months ago.

Looks like cousins had a big effect on dustin.

Great role model old ben.

I am trying hard to not be optimistic about our chances, but we do have a good chance against Richmond.

Big concern for me is still about where our goals and kicking a winning score without Clark.

If you're on a drinking binge then you're usually asleep during the early morning recovery session.

The rumours around suggest that they were wide awake.

Without Clark we will struggle to win another game in 2012.

We don't kick enough goals.

Two more I think is the Max wyl

If we get a couple back from injury we still have a chance against GCS and GWS

They must update it at the drop of a hat when they get news. It's in the opening paragraph yet if you read on it suggests the suspension is pending. Caro is like a fly on the wall at Richmond. She probably works for 'chaos' and has the board room bugged.

Choko not sure that these two out alters much Connors has only played 2 games this year and all my Richmond friends tell me Martin as been ordinary most games this year.

Remember the Tigers beat us by 59 points ( almost 10 goals ) earlier in the year before our injuries hit the current massive levels.

They only lost to Adelaide by a couple.

We have won 2 games they have won 6

Bookies have us at $5 tigers $1.16 they are seldom wrong

I think Ricmond will beat us with one leg in the air

I actually think Richmond are in a bit of a slump. In their last three games they've lost to Fremantle at home, beaten GWS by just 12 points, and were overrun by Adelaide.

Even without Clark, I think we've improved a lot since our round 3 drubbing. I'm not saying we're going to win, but I give us a fair chance. We're still $5.50 on Sportsbet, which I think is rediculous.

EDIT: Melbourne $5.00 now.

It will be interesting to hear what Richmond 'reveal' about this, or if indeed they will at all.

Very suspicious IMO.

It is on SEN in 5 minutes - 12.30.

Just announced it is now closer to 1.00 PM

When was the last time a team sacked a good player* for off field behaviour? We don't exactly have a list full of angels either

*other than Fev, who made his problems so public that the clubs genuinely had no choice

Well, I for one would like to know what it is that we are all supposed to know that he gets up to.

Perhaps the Richmond Board should re-use the 'cone of silence.'

Edit:

At least plug up the holes in the apparatus.

Strange. Waiting for the boys' to clear their eyes and stop slurring their speech perhaps?

'Cone of silence' problems delaying presser.

It's important they're all on the same page.

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

  • NON-MFC: Round 09

Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos. The Lions should easily take care of the struggling Roos who might be powerless against the best in the comp. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?
