Look at our list and how we played - we played like Fuschias not Demons.

the only people who care about this club and truly hurt in response to our plight is us - the endlessly paying supporters who keep turning up and paying...

No players on our list can dare to say they bleed red and blue.

Correct!

I've supported Melbourne for over 50 years but, right now, if I lived a bit further North i'd go and buy a GC membership.

This is the worst melbourne side I have ever seen. Because they just dont care. they just cant be bothered.

Go the youngsters. Want to change the culture, start by getting rid of everyone who contributes to the old ways. Give youngsters like Blease and Gysberts (when not injured), Fitzpatrick, McDonald etc game time. The season is a right off - may as well use it to try and blood some youngsters.

Bad season, but let's give credit where it is due. Mitch Clark and Nathan Jones have given 110% this year. They both looked tired tonight and who can blame them. If we had 22 blokes that tried as hard as they do we'd be a bloody honest team.

Hey come on guys we were not that bad. I can easily see us making top four this year and being a real chance for the premiership next year.

Go Dees!. From the alps

This year has been so demoralising in so many ways. Credit goes to Mitch Clark and Nathan Jones so far this season, they have wore their hearts on their sleeves. There is a serious culture problem with this club at the moment. Sad to say that Geelong game last year is still having

reprecussions on us. We have got to somehow give hope to our better younger players, because at the moment i feel as if the Melbourne players are finding it so difficult and unenjoyable representing this football club week in, week out.

You say: "the only ones who bleed red and blue are the supporters."

Are you challenging convention with that theory, or just stating the obvious?

Players come and go from this club. So do the coaches, and the board members.

They don't bleed red and blue like we do, because this is a profession for them. That's not a blight on their reputation, it's merely a fact. Show up at AAMI Park on the hour, punch in, train, punch out, take your cheque and go home.

So what if they don't care about the club. So long as they have a damn good attitude to their profession and put in the hard yards, I don't care what they believe in.

I think the translation of bleeding red and blue would be having a "damn good attitude", so that's where we're having a crack at them.

I guess what I mean is the shinboners have that spirit, the other clubs stand up to their supporter's expectation. Our club just looks back to the 60s and dreams of the good old days.

hows that for freestylin bitchessss

I'd say it's awesome! I cant believe how talented you are!

I think you're in the right place though. Tons of hip hop moguls here on Demonland. Dre found Eminem on here back in the day when he was freestylin about Allen Jackovich's soccer goal against the Roos in 91.

Hang in there kid. A record deal is on it's way.

3 cheers also to the Red and Blue Bloods who run the site and have to go and write up games like that when Im sure you really dont feel like it.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
