Neeld in Our Current Trakkie Top

Featured Replies

You're going to an awful lot of effort to one up me on this one Rp. You've made a good case ... but since you've brought a soccer style theme into it, I'll have to say no cigar on an equalizer.

You're going to have to do better to beat my keeper.

It's still ... Range Rover 1 - Rpfc 0

It needs a Latin motto.

I was thinking Acta non verba.

I can't stand this current Top our Coaching Team wear.

* Bailey looked stupid dressed in this top for 4 Years

* Todd Viney looks all wrong in this gear

& I hate to say it but Neeld looks all wrong also in this gear..

FFS reverse the Red & Blue & make this top look mean & lean instead of bright & gay.

Am I on my own here? I know its very minor in the scale of things however it has [censored] me off for years

& seeing Neeld in this top today just reinforced my thoughts.

OMR- We need to give him the Ultimate footy look-I agree with ya.

I have rarely bought merchandise but did for the first time with a red polo with a touch a blue. I like it - what would I know - I am in the fashion game.

As long as our Coaches are wearing Red & Blue i really do not care...During a game they are unseen.

FWIW in this exhilarating debate I'm another big fan of our logo, but I can't say I'm a fan of the training apparel. Mind you it's very low on my list of concerns with the club!

I imagine they'll bring out a new line with new sponsors.

Cannot say I agree with you re the logo IMO it is way too busy but not something i worry too much about.

The Logo is the Logo is the Logo.

I absolutely love our MFC Emblem. I feel proud everytime i see it. Compared to the other corporate logos we play against.

Our emblem is busy because a lot of history has filtured through the club we all love.

if this thread is a sign of things to come, then its going to be a very slow off season around here!

This thread is the demonland equivilent to the offseason garbage on HUN's superfooty

It happens every year, the key for all is to get a sense of humour.

Some are incapable of finding said sense and they usually end up in the land of BigFooty arguing with 13 year old Richmond supporters that 'while we are not flying at the minute, we don't suck donkey ....'

Tony the "sugar frosties" tiger!! Bloody classic...adelaide should seriously have Sam the Froot Loop Tucan as their emblem.

what about brisbane and the paddle pop lion?

RPFC, its your time to shine!

Oh yes the paddle pop Brisbane lion...The ultimate finger at Fitzroy.

But that same lion could also be Cameron Ling.....

Spoke to Schwabby a while ago and he told me the Dees wanted to 'own' the colour red - hence he's not too keen to change it.

Rode past Gosch's this AM and the boys were training in their new gear. It is predominantly a very dark navy with a small blood red yoke (mini version of our jumper). The other training top is the reverse of this. It looked good.

Maybe the reason they went with the RED top is that the kids can get it signed by the favorite players, bit hard to do with the blue one. I don't mind the RED tops but I think the polo looks like a primary school kids top that has been in the hamper too long, would be better to be a micro fibre slim line top (in Red)

HaHaHaHa!! I think it could work.....The Adelaide Froot Loop has more Punch though!!!!

Well done rp...

Hey rfpc, this thread is a bit out of character for you. You getting some lately? New GF? Love it though...

HAHA! Classic! nice one mate

i just put them both up on Facebook, i expect some excellent replies by tomorrow Morning!!

All your work of course rpfc, but these logos are too good to not show them around....

Swooper next time you speak to him ask him what colour the scarf will be for 2012.

If he wants to "own the colour red" can he get a red scarf not the bloody maroon one we had this year please

Could not agree more rpfc it is 2nd November for god's sake. lets all lighten up.

the 2012 season is months away there will be plenty of time come March to get all depressed and angry.

Nah, same missus.

I get like this every off-season.

Hannibal/Lone Wolf/Glengarry Glen Ross/Tweed Pig/Trav 20 thinks I am 'unreadable' but I disagree.

"THE FRUIT LOOP"! Surely more appropriate for the GW$ coach !

One of my pet hates is our coaching panel getting about in suit pants and polo shirts. Just look horrible. If they are wearing suit pants then its collar (no logos thereon) and tie. If they are wearing the more sponsor friendly polo then its a more business casual trouser.

Quite like the new 2012 training gear. Actually looks like it was designed especially for us rather than being generic sportwsear designer mess.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
