Who is your favourite Demonland poster?

Featured Replies

Well us traitors who called Scully a dirty lier need to stick togetehr haha

The interesting thing is to go back and have a look at the original press conference.

You'll see it in a whole different light. Kid's got ice running through his veins. Think Ed Norton in Primal Fear.

We are well rid of him.

Well aware of what he said that press conference, which was why i accused him of being a lier as soon as GWS made it public that they were interested in him.

There is only one poster who I agree with consistently and he has been quiet of late.

Whatever happened to good ol' Artie Bucco?

Indeed one might ask whats happened to a few ??

Yes, it's rare now for a poster to keep one moniker...

Odd.

Artie was always good for a laugh, just a little less funny without him around these days.

1st: Jayceebee

2nd: Bhima

3rd: Daiseycutter

Last: Artie Bucco/E25/Enforcer.

It's me isn't it

Yes. But mainly for the avatar.

Have to be the old school Demonland of Whispering Jack and Yze Magic.

Rhino Richards and Hannabal have a hard edge about them that makes their posts worth reading.

Last: Artie Bucco/E25

haha THIS

I could be wrong but I think he's Lutz now. Apologies in advance if I'm wrong Lutz.

I just assume anyone who racks up a hundred posts in their first week is E25 now

Edit- Makes it harder to keep track now the join date isn't shown.

THIS...^^^^

you only have to run your mouse over the members name to see when they joined B)

No love for Nasher..?

Matches it with the best.

But you could write a decent list of considered, reasonable, intelligent posters with a good grasp on the game.

I think MFC supporters are fortunate to have so many contributors of that ilk.

Y_M. Clearly. Too bad he was drafted.

Hey Y_M...

I haven't been on here for a long time, so I'm gonna go for WJ, and that goes for the entire time I've been on 'land.

But I will say this site, since Y_M's demise, actually got funnier. There's a dozen posters here who regularly make me chuckle.

Name 'em!!

Gold: rpfc

Silver: Rogue

Bronze: Hannibal (partly for entertainment)

Disappointed my name hasn't popped up in this thread yet...what a let down.

You do have the best name of all the posters.

I vote for Jack Watts

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
