I spent all day looking for boots and the only ones i could find in my size were a pair of canary yellow puma's. Perhaps the worst looking boots i have ever seen.

Pfft. I just pulled mine out of the cupboard and realised I hadnt even taken my socks out since the last game of the season (which was ridiculously muddy).

I'm borrowing my dad's. Dad hasn't worn his since 2003. And there's mud on them. I have cousins that are younger than that mud.

EDIT: Actually, anyone got a spare crap pair of size 9 boots that my brother could borrow?

And it's another win to the Melbourne boys who win the round robin again.

Dees 8.5.53 defeated Pies 5.3.33.

Thanks all who played and helped. Rollo to bring all the goalkickers and best players shortly.

goals: rollo2 2 (that means rollo2 got 2), cowboyfromhell, wise, the stynes factor, SUPERMERCADO, and two guys who played for us from the saints got one each...

we voted best players (lots of room to argue) as steve the ruckman, wise, heater, wonnabeeri, the stynes factor, junior, cowboyfromhell, rollo2, the russian...

many thanks to our umpires (the two davids), and to whateverittakes for the extra water and looking after the umpires and players, and to whispering jack for coaching...

highlight of the day has to have been super's goal...
