Well as far as we actually KNOW, he did not seek it, but had it offered. Lyon on the other hand did seek it, snaking another coach along the way might I add. I don't want the [censored] anymore, this to me paints him as nothing but a dog.

I really rate him highly.He has a good mix of mongrel and teacher, and I have watched the Dockers closely, he was decimated by injuries and but for that, he would absolutely have been top 4 this year in my view.I think he has really built that list from bottom up in the right way, and had the game plan to take the Dockers all the way.Unless there is more to why they got rid of him (i.e. lost the players, he's got some other problems), I am definitely keen on him. Very keen.

I agree Choko. I said earlier about the game last year when Freo beat Geelong at Subi. Absolutely one of the best games of footy I've ever seen. If he could get our guys playing like that we would be dead set lethal withing 3 years. Remember they finished 14th in his first year, so he has to get a lot of credit for where they were/should be.

not disputing that point, and i feel sorry for Harvey, but Lyon was never going to sign a 4 year deal with the saints.
