Opening ceremony of the olympics all over again!

At game. This is fun. I brought a heart. Therefore I can prove there is a red and blue heart here. Just one. Jurrah, Maric, Watts behind the ball. Not that it matters. Bugger em all. Honestly.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahhhhaahhahhaahahhahhhahahahhahahaha

How can we be this bad really? We have been rebuilding for 4 years!

Just how long will the non die hard supporters stick fat for? you can almost forgive people for dropping off this disgrace of a club. We wont win premierships.

Matthew Bate our Sub has a higher game ranking than Green who has only given away a free.

may as well make the substitution now, Bate couldn't do worse

3 fricken points in a bloody quarter that's it the side doesn't put they have no respect for the club or jumper

they are pathetic, listless and don't deserve to play AFL.

The are all pea hearts

Was expecting to lose heavily but this is beyond that. Absolutely embarrassing.

Could be the "kill-shot" (sorry Dwayne) for Bailey tbh.

Good to see Captain Courageous stand up!

The instruction would have been to absolutely blow us out of the water early so they can coast for the rest of the game. It won't be as bad as that horrible night, the margin will well and truly flatter us at the end.

Pathetic leadership once again shown by Green and Moloney.

All I can do is just laugh.

Jurrah on Bartel, then playing defence. Then Bailey panics again and watts playing loose down back. All year I have been defending Bailey, his last chance is next week. Not expecting to beat Geelong or Carlton, but this is just a joke. It's an embarrassment.

Are there any good Movies out at the moment?

come on mate, its ok to be upset about this performance, but im pretty sure the players do respect the club and jumper.

It's funny, we had about a 3-4min period where we were in control of the ball and every time we put it in there it was terrible delivery, then it goes straight up their end and they score a goal with little worry. From there it was an avalanche, this is the worst display i have every seen under Bailey.

took then 48 seconds to get their first in the second quarter, must have been a great 1/4 time speech.

FAAAAAAAAARK i just wanna smash something really bad......our beloved Dees are crap again and again and again.......FFS

Can't listen to this anymore, as soon as a team is performing so badly that the commentary just mocks the opposition, i lose interest.

Was anybody game enough to listen to K-Rock today?

this is f%$#ing hilarious..... well surely were not to take any of this too seriously or to heart !! Quick sign Bailey to another 4 ..why stop at one or two.

This bunch of clowns ought to be made to walk back along the Geelong Rd...in full kit !!!

Shame...Melbourne...shame.

wheres the pride.. ?? Anyone in red and blue got any self respect ?? Anyone ?

looks like we have played Mooney back into form for them. We seem very good at that

yep...i made note of this weeks and weeks ago and was laughed at.. Id rather not be the one having last laughs...really I dont !!

Why would you listen to K Rock? Sadism at it's finest

Theres a film out called Bad Teacher not sure if its based on teh MFC coaching staff

Praise the lord!

be honest, was anyone really expecting anything different?

That goal sums us up. Tapscott doesn't follow to the goalsquare handball enough. Rivers doesn't go hard at the ball and they get another easy goal

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.
