It obviously wasn't an iPhone Bbo.

Three years is the limit and  that comes from Apple themselves.

Planned obsolescence is alive and well in 2016.

Have to keep the profit margins up. I'm sure Biffen could give us all a lesson or two on how to do that.

The older and less technologically adept I become, the more that word "obsolescence" scares the [censored] out of me.

The tranny is such a versatile companion. You can smuggle them in in your jacket, slip them into your pants,or just leave them in the car when they wear out. I go through quite a few in a year but then again I am fairly rough with mine

I hate to raise it on this forum Biffen but as I have actually had the life changing experience of seeing you slip objects into your pants, ... well let me just say .. I wish I hadn't.

We have the CC TV footage of you slipping something out of your pants at the foyer in the Gat.

We can just brush it off as a Malcolm Fraser moment for yourself and let my smuggling operation go unmentioned.

Hi Everyone

just a heads up to all posters on this thread, as you know I am often called on to dispense life style advice to our more unfortunate brethren but I may not be as accessible as I have been in the past to give this advice.  I have recently been appointed as the lead consultant to the Head of the Office of Medicinal Cannabis for Victoria. It is an onerous position and will take up much of my time but it is for society's good.

My one concern is that the new CEO that I have only seen from a distance was wearing a light blue Hawaian Shirt, he did look disturbingly familiar!

As a background quote:

"The Government will establish an Office of Medicinal Cannabis within the Department of Health and Human Services to oversee the manufacturing, dispensing and clinical aspects of the framework".

Feel free to contact me about any "delivery" issues you may have!

The Earl

Medicinal cannabis? I didn't realise that glazed bloodshot eyes with dark circles underneath was a sign of good health.

Congrats on the new appointment Earl. Sure beats the last one - pole dancing instructor at the Greyhound was never your thing.

CP5 getting closer. Probably next week.

Every time I see CP5, I think of Star Wars for some reason. Mind you, I've never seen a single Star Wars movie. Some would say I've lived a sheltered life.

Good Lord Mable!!!!! That Canabodia must be backwater indeed.

Those movies had a great influence on me and Jabba the Hutt was my role model. In latter years though he was supeceded by Pizza the hut

Clearly Dave needs to get his priorities right.

WTF is going on in the world ?

Back in my day ( admittedly long gone),the girls from Merton Hall (as it was then known) were taught how to cook ,sew, clean and give serviceable oral sex.

Shirley she can't be serious getting home at 9.30 whilst poor old Dave has to write out programmes for Cale and Jordies weights program(ignored),tell JW to eat more mushrooms(non magic),and listen to Max Gawn farting his way through knee strengthening exercises with a pack of Marlboros stuck under the sleeve of his t-shirt.

'tis a wonder the guy hasn't topped himself.

Dave-get out while you still can.

Sure, its an easy commute from the Bot to Gosches paddock but FMD MAN! Wake Up. She is using you to further her career and leaving you to pick up the pieces of the family she has abandoned .

Australian women are a wonderful but presumptuous lot, which is why Shazza is no longer involved at the Gat and partly why there will be no more Aussies birds on my (non) pay roll.

Dave, note to self.....

Get a skinful, come home late and sort this uppity tart out immediately .You are an embarrassment .

Cue Stuie......

picket you are an imbecile!

Biffen you are a pig!

I can't post at the moment as I've been watching footage of Our Majesty's 90th. I'm teared up and excited. I'm just hoping for another royal wedding or royal birth.

It's a re run of "Beaches" for me tonight.

Don't get me wrong,I'm all for living off the earnings of women but FMD!

I draw the line at allowing them to come home whenever they want.

BBO-Prince Phillip would never allow Her Majesty to think she has control-and he would sort out such unnatural inequity in the "pants "department privately.

Greeks have never betrayed the natural order of things ,which is why women still like to dalliance with chockos ,despite the smell.

Just ask DC-he loves all things Greek.

I love these high flyers working 8 am to 10.30 pm, really?  Has Mrs Misson ever heard of delegating responsibility to others, to aid their development?  And she wouldn't lack resources at the over subsidised Girls Grammar!

Leader or control freak?

Biff there are times when it is best to remain silent. Although my guess is that you are not the silent type.

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
