You clearly haven’t seen our Demon Army ponchos. They may not be fashionable or flattering, but they’d withstand any amount of any animal pee. After all, they keep us dry and warm at Casey.

But would they have been up to Victoria Park* or Windy Hill*?...

(*I'm only going by what others fondly remember)

Weather-wise, yes. But in every other respect probs wouldn’t last a day at Windy Hill. As awesome as our ponchos are, they’re not feral-proof enough to endure that. No, that’d be a job for a hazmat suit.

Edit: have I told you how much I despise Essendon? I hate that club with every fibre of my being. I wouldn’t subject my beautiful poncho to the filthy air that stills hangs over that entire suburb.

Reminds me of that book “ The Art of Prevaracation”, which I just can’t decide whether or not to read.

Now this is what I mean my learned colleague. Far too polite and evidence supports the contention.

You would have loved the Dons fan I was speaking with on Monday, he was really pumped about Weid and how a second chance is all he needs.

He may be right but still, sheesh.

I think you can be polite and combative at the same time.

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
