Ok, who's the wiseguy? I gotta relo who cant login. It could mean a split in relations if the ban cant be removed.

Why ban nana ? Aferall she is harmless, its not if she just fritters her time away. She hasnt been able to post on the forum for months, she is going bananas.I havent seen someone do their narna since John Bourke lost it down at the Lake Oval. Atm she is sedated on the banana lounge.I wanted to-a-peel to anyone that could remove it, or warrant any justification to ban nana. Perhaps some smoothies on here can sort it out. Before she starts to think its become a banana republic or something...

Yes but the case will go to appeal and if that fails, who knows?

Journos have been prepared to go to prison rather than reveal their sources.

Have heard Fairfax journalists have been ruled and ordered to reveal their confidential source(s?)...............this could get interesting!

Stay tuned...

Interesting read there H_T. Seems the Journo's may have shot themselves in the foot.

Well, in the end, I didn't need to start a fight with those young GCS punks to create a distraction from the tanking rubbish. One of them was able to do it all by himself - Young Gold Coast forward Jacob Gillbee charged with drink driving. Blew half of what Liam did over in Adelaide which shows that these Gold Coast lads still have a fair way to go .

Incidentally, spare a thought for Redleg who decided to stay on the Gold Coast for a few more days to enjoy the brilliant sunshine up there. I left on Thursday and the sun was shining but it hasn't stopped p1zzing down ever since. I think it might even be too wet for him to post on the site.

<tomorrow >

I see the Hun thinks it's newsworthy for Swan and Thomas to dodge a hold-up by walking past 45 minutes after it happened. What's the next headline ...

"Swan and Thomas dodge collision by driving past road accident one hour later"

"Swan and Thomas dodge drowning by swimming at beach on same day man dies"

??

This thread needs to get back on topic.

PS. to Biffen. Who needs Pfizer?attachicon.gifbth_245490.gif

Pele.

When you've kicked as many goals as him and you live in Brazil, they would be mandatory.

Mick Jagger gives them a nudge too I'd reckon.

This thread needs to get back on topic.

But what the hell has happened to the banana crops through all of this Redleg?

Last time we went through months of hell

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

  • POSTGAME: Richmond

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
