I like bananas, but I reckon that's a sacrifice we'll spent. Hope it made a complete mess of him

Good news, Moon. I just checked the ingredients and there are no bananas in McDonalds banana milkshakes.

Whatever the reason, it is great to have you back!

I have been focused on my WAFL team lately which has allowed me to watch more live football. Pity both my football teams are so far away from where I live lol 😆

Actually, I might have one as well - to toast our rise up the ladder without playing a second.
Cheers

A bit of RUMbling on here atm.

Yeah. Definitely a few things rumbling this morning.
Definitely be fine by tonight though.
Might need a hair of the parrot.

Speaking of parrots and rum...

Wait, did I already tell the story of how pirate rum was very weak and actually reached a perfect balance where it was as weak as possible (water down for profit, of course) but also exactly strong enough for the alcohol to kill off all the bacteria and such that would infect 'just water'?

It is a pretty cool case of nothing more than habits and reactions leading to a precision result.

Pirate rum is better for you than water. If you're a pirate, at least.

That’s gold!
Makes sense - they weren’t mixing it with Perrier.

Would it be too much to hope for a Dees win and Blues loss, after Bombers losing, to make it a lovely footy weekend?

That's great Redleg.

You should check out the new TV series MASH.

I think you'd really like it.

I am too busy trying to find the original Roots mini series, so I can reacquaint myself with Kunte Kinte and the gang.

You do realise that one of those characters and it wasn't Rin Tin Tin, was a pedophile.

Twas Zig or Zag. Then again, so, probably was Jeffrey Epstein.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
