well i think my little dose of positivity by attending today was probably the straw that broke the shytehed hoodoo

still hate the glary freezing concrete monstrosity

And I thought it was me attending that broke the hoodoo. Glad I made effort although I usually like to sit up on the third level to get a better view but that was shut!

I must ask if you caught up with "Special" doing his backwards protest at Etihad Earl Hood. And, if so, did you encourage said action despite this meaning that "Special" missed our historic win?

BBO no I didn't catch up with Special. I did a complete circuit of the lower level to see if I could spot Bob but the only people I saw seated backwards were dressed in orange and apparently were GWS tribal types who had no idea where to look! They are very new to our game apparently. Unless Bob decided to dress in orange to throw me off the scent?

Wow....I thought demonland was where everybody could state their opinion and not be personally insulted for having that opinion.

It appears that Stuie does not get that same consideration.

really.....for a pm ?? hardly seems right . Whole point of pm's surely is to take 'discussion' to a private venue

Thats disappointing

I'm shocked and appalled, like all of us ,at Bitty's disgraceful behaviour.

We can only hope he learns from this and comes back to us a better person.

To be very clear, abusing somebody by private message is every bit as frowned upon as doing it publicly on the forum.

Happened to me once Nasher as I was discussing marriage with Robbie F who has since left.

Trouble was,he took a a private conversation public but not the deranged rantings from his side.

Anyhow, big boys take it on the chin, which is something I thought Stuie would be capable of,given his experience.

yes, it could be an epithany for uncle bitters

better he contemplates his behaviour rather than continue his slow slide into further debauchery

i would say some prayers for him if i knew how. maybe stuie could do them on my behalf being dl's moral compass

Hmmmm.... But on the same thread from where the pm stemmed stuart uses a sexist/homophobic slur and calls me "BBOs little galpal". Have no problem taking that on the chin, as it were, it's all a bit of banter. Because I brush it off and stuart sooks about a pm, the result is different.

    THE CAVALRY ARRIVES by Megg

The injury plague which has beset the Demons 2024 campaign is finally starting to dissipate and with consecutive wins over GWS Giants and a 2-point nail-biter in Adelade, a sense of optimism is rising.  Some commentators are now asking whether the Dees can make finals? A huge surprise with team selection this week when it was announced that champs Olivia Purcell, Paxy Paxman and Eden Zanker would play.   Hallelujah!  The cavalry has arrived. St Kilda missed the finals last season on pe

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.
