just reported on news he is out 4 the year mith a navicular problem massive blow

Just saw it. FFS Grimes must have done something wrong to the big guy upstairs. Poor bugger.

Far out, he looks fine in the photo.

This is [censored].

Grimes has broken his navicular bone. Would be surprised if we saw him back this year.

Navicular is complicated. I hate to make the comparison, but it's similar to Matthew Egan's bad break which in the end, force him to retire.

Any apologies to thedemonwithin?

same injury to garland aswell so not all doom and gloom when talked up as matthew egans injury

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU! :( :( so shattered!!!

Also Spencer has done his ACL. So much for our small injury list.

FFS we cannot catch a break!!!

Any apologies to thedemonwithin?

Yes from me- however all I said was I hope he was not making it up- unfortunately he had the right mail.

hurry back to fitness Jordie McKenzie and Tommy Scully!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuu

I need a stiff drink. Frank out for the year!!!

This means Morton will get a game-He doesn't deserve one yet. Needs to learn how to tackle...

You were right "the demonwithin" well done on your info, hopefully next time its a good news story.

Now hopefully Grimes recovers quickly and to 100%

.

I hate life so much sometimes. Had to be the week before we played the Kangas too didn't it. Goddamn.

Oh well. Evans, Nicholson and Blease all might get a chance soon.

If I remember correctly, we banned a poster for 12 for spreading misinformation about an injury allegedly sustained by Jack Grimes a couple of years ago.

I would suggest that our moderators will be consistent on this issue if the information turns out to be incorrect again this time (as I hope is the case).

Twelve months is a long time but in that instance the poster was given the opportunity to 'fess up and show remorse but that didn't happen on that occasion.

OMG OMG OMG. I just noticed an Injury Rumour thread other than this one . Quick Whispering Jack go and assert your dominance on that thread!

In this day and age alot of people know alot of people. If a person is confident in what they preach, they are 100% entitled to withhold their sources from people they have never met.

The disdain that some people showed a new poster trying to pass on information about the club that he had heard and nice enough to share is a disgrace.

5000 posts on a site doesn't mean you're a better or more informed supporter than the next person.

Just make sure that he is taught the MRP Safety First Way!

First - politely ask the gentleman with the ball if he would be so kind as to allow you to partake in a tackling exercise

Second - Once you have his consent, then try to make arrangements for both parties to be stationary

Third - once stationary, now consider the best angle to approach applying your arms around the gentleman's body - but ONLY in the 5cm area in the thorax region. If this part is not covered by his arms, which must be free to protect himself at all times were he to collapse, then do NOT apply said tackle

Fourth - Once all preconditions are met (and assuming the gentleman has not scurried 100m away for a goal) please feel free to apply said tackle

Let him train with the Melbourne Storm- that may help.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
