  1. Not much experience left out there. Malthouse/Choco is about all the experience that wont be coaching next year. Only assistant I would look at would be Scott Burns.
  2. Time for this club, and especially the administration to stand up and be counted. Jimmy has done an amazing job for us, but he cant do it all on his own.
  3. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/plunge-on-st-kilda-coach-ross-lyon-to-coach-melbourne-next-season/story-e6frf9jf-1226129704921 Ross Lyon has just been backed in from $9 to $2. Sportsbet has suspended the betting market on our new coach. someone might know something.
  4. Bailey Had to go. He was as good as gone at years end, no point waiting. The players are a disgrace, the leadership group especially. They need to dig deep till the end of the year and decide if they want to play for MFC. In regards to a new coach, our playing list has been treated with kid gloves for far too long. We need someone tough, someone who will light a fuse under the playing list, someone that scares them a bit. There is no one connected with MFC that could provide that as far as I know, we need to look elsewhere.
  5. Same injury that ended Matthew Egans career
  6. Green and Sylvia continue to pass it off when they are on the 50, no confidence in having a shot what so ever.
  7. Moloney is the first player to try and fire anyone up tonight.
  8. He has to go now. He's lost the players, he's clearly lost Schwab and other high ranking officials. Dean Bailey has no place at MFC
  9. The fact Sylvia just had no one to kick too sums up our coach. There's a reason Schwab didn't praise him, there's nothing to praise him about. Trying to play a game plan that doesnt work for us, and not being able to adapt as good coaches need to. Have not seen one of our leadership team step up and try and get us going. Watts, Martin and Bail the only highlights. Where is the desire and heart we saw last year? Where is the pride in the jumper? This hurts too watch, it really does.
  10. Since when can they use the replay for a decision??
  11. Yep, that was pathetic.
  12. 5th highest differential for inside 50's since stats begin. We're on our way to being a laughing stock again.
  13. Only highlight is Watts. The rest is a disgrace. Oh how I long for the run and Carry of last year.
  14. Is it being broadcast live anywhere?
  15. A young side doesnt have the legs to play 4 quarters every week, id be happy with 3 quarters next week.
  16. The Great Escape currently Playing on Fox Classics.. a win would have been a great lead in to that movie... We are moving forward, and we are slowly learning to win again. Next lesson is coping with pressure...
  17. As long as they learn from that experience its a win. As corny as that may sound, it will help them learn to deal with pressure, and make them realise you cant turn up for half a game of football and walk away with 4 points. Though PJ and Scully were great, Watts worked hard, just needs to work on his hand skills, and coping with pressure, but that will come with time. A shame him or Dunn couldnt have slotted one of those two goals, but as has been said, we did not deserve to win. Hopefully Junior and Trengove in next week. Play like we did in the second half for 3 quarter's and we will beat the Swans. Don't think too much of them beating Carlton, Carlton are a rabble.
  18. 0.6 from Dunn, Bate, and Watts. Not enough from those 3. ( though watts was moved around)
  19. Watts worked his ass off but needs to learn to deal with pressure, I suppose that will come with time.
  20. Hate to think what would have happened had the team bus got to the ground before Half time.
  21. Dunn misses, 4 points the diff.
  22. Panicking under pressure. Freo will get away with this one I think, we need to stay calm.
  23. If Pav gets this its over, we just cant keep possession.
