Looks like LeCras is playing NO CHANGE.

Dunn & Gaff are the subs

I suspected this may be the case- he's versatile but also a player who has the potential for a big impact late in the game, especially if he can get the ball close to goal...

C'mon Dees, fire up!

C'mon Jack Watts!! I'm feeling something a little special tonight... Just be strong over the footy the rest will take care of itself. Hopefully he doesn't get subbed off

cmon dees - will hate another weak performance agaiones, against a good interstate team

jones and rivers better stand up tonite. our leaders go missing way too often for us to be a good team

Surprised about Dunn being the sub, but more surprised about Gaff being the sub for the fourth (?) time.

i am feeling a little confident tonight...listening to all the coaches on radio so far, the Club fully realizes what this game means. This one is all about RESPECT.

It is a good side on paper....selected for Pace according to Choco Royal.

dunn has pace and can tackle so should bring intensity to the contest

On paper we should beat them tonight. The only worry I have is Josh Kennedy and Dean Cox. I'm hoping Col Garland has the fitness to run around with Kennedy on the big deck because I can't see Rivers keeping up with him. Would like Rivers to cut off the supply that comes his way. Also hope Jamar is up for a big one in his 100th game.

If we can break these 2 down it goes along way in us winning. LeCras is also a worry but I don't think he will kick many or do too much damage on Frawley.

Hmmm what sort of run does Dunn give us? suspect sub use for me. Bennell would have been awesome to unleash in the last, with Dunn being subbed off.

Any rain/dew around?

I'm also bit surprised with Dunn as the sub I was certain it was going to be bennel for his pace in the last qrt (as long as there are no injuries) anyway pretty pumped to watch it live!!

Agree, except Bennell now has an opportunity to give us run on the big ground for 4 quarters. I think it's perform or get dropped for him this week. He needs to win the ball and put on defensive pressure in the forward line.

Hopefully we get Bennell pace for the 4 Quarters rather than one....but it's a toss of the coin each week i am sure.

8.35 on 1HD & MFC need to win the next 3 (including this one) to be able to make the 8. There is no game that MFC will 100% win.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
